I am german and i must say, these sausages looks very authentic. The Hela currysauce is also authentic. I woude say every german have these sauce at home. In germany we eat the bratwurst with boiled potatos, brown gravy and canned carrots and peas in a white sauce.
For sausages when I'm not grilling, I just throw them all on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven. It gives the same flavor as the panini press but much faster when you have a lot or variety.

Just a little trick: Make your own Currywurst-Sauce: 75% Ketchup and another 25% Applesauce. Then you can spice it up with some Currypowder and some Paprika and Onions. I know the Chief at a snack bar here in Germany, he's doing like this and its awesome!
Y'all should try eating fries with the Hela Curry sauce, it's served everywhere in the netherlands with fries and other "snacks" that go with fries. Way better than ketchup imo ofcourse

You gotta eat a local thing that is here called: "3 im Weckla" Basically they are the real Nürnberger sausages, much smaller ones with a unique taste with a proper Brötchen how we call it here and mustard (no Dijon one just saying). As a German, I wouldn't particularly recommend to grill the Wieners, my guy. They go heated up in hot water till the skin is really tight and crispy and served with medium hot ORIGINAL German mustard... 😅😁

Those sausages would hit different if they were grilled on top of some hot charcoal briquettes hahaha! I don't think you can get that good charred flavor from a panini press in my opinion but hey they still look pretty decent.
