I feel like Ashely takes her job as a drug, she can't get enough. She was fired, and when Madelyn was eliminated and Homelander offered her the position she was joyous to be back, she lives for this lol.
True, it's hard to feel bad for her when she returns to her abusers like a lapdog. And why? She had the training to work in hundreds of companies with better ethics and it's not that the woman was short of money to drag herself back to Vought. Seriously, is she so obsessed with money and prestige that she feels it's worth dragging her dignity and morals through the mud?

The only person relatable, you won't shoot lasers from your eys or murder superheros, but what Ashely experienced is something everyone has/had experienced at some point in their life, no matter if you are working in a fictional company Vought or the real one like Amazon, that stress she had is the most realistic thing through the show.
Her emotional dysregulation is seriously a mood lol
Her character is insufferable, but the actress’ acting is beyond incredible

It just occurs to me that Ashley is basically the Seven's equivalent of Nick Fury, the non-superhuman commander who organizes the superheroes.
She is a Ferret Fury to The Gang's of Lion's (Homelander) Wolve's Fox's Lynx's and RoadRunner's
Except she lacks the authority that Nick Fury commands

I feel bad for Ashley, with all the stress at Vought and mistreatment from Homelander, the girl needs to quit her job find a new job that's less stressful, go to therapy to help her and get herself medication for her diagnosis.

I think Colby Minifie should do some voice acting roles in the future. There’s something about her energetic and bubbly voice that would be perfect for a comedic side character in a Disney XD show or something!

@@meraculus-zn3zx yes it does. She actively covers up murders and assaults to protect Voughts image. She was more than fine with this before Homelander took control. She’s a bad person and complicit in many of Voughts crimes. Being threatened by Homelander doesn’t wash her hands of blood.

It doesn't help that the likes of Homelander or A-Train have a very bad habit of not being a part of any crisis management but end up escalating just about any crisis they cause.
Boys. New personality just dropped. Ashley is literally me. I pull out my hair during every stressful situation.
For as much of a pill of a human being that Ashley can be, I want her to do well for herself. Leave Vought, take a year long vacation in the Caribbean and become the agent for an indie film studio. She could take them to the next level with her marketing knowledge and the stress would allow her to become a much more calm, collected and pleasant person. She'd do incredibly well for herself and I'd call it a good move on the showrunner's part.
Ashley is easily my favourite charecter on this show

I've experienced this when I still in college, the toxic environment, all the homework and super annoying professor make me keep pulling my hair until I have a bald spot. Then I found out that's trikotilomania.
Just quit, there's no Homelander to laser you off lol, unless you have a clear goal and all of that suffering is worth it. I dropped out from college and am living in the middle of nowhere now. I'm not rich, but at least it's peaceful.
Even extras in this show do better acting than modern-day Hollywood, Period!!

When I first saw Colby Minifie in Fear the Walking Dead I thought she had a spark that was going to waste on the show. She plays the Ashley character perfectly in the scenes where she’s being sarcastic as hell and putting the supes in their places when they mess up in the most condescending manners possible while still being in the right.

There are times when you can feel bad for Ashley, but in reality, she's one of the rare characters where I really don't know what to think about. She seems very stressed, which is normal, but I don't think she wants give up her job at Vought because of what it brings to her. Maybe power, money, or adrenaline...
I think she's kinda junkie, she knows what she's doing is dangerous and wrong but she loves the thrill
