Somebody threw a G shock in the trash at the store. Did not believe it was real, seems like it is identical to this one. Changed battery and good as new. Thanks for the close up view. Had to use some force to open the lock. Great video
is it true that one you open your gshock watch like this one and for example to change the battery then the water resistant feature will not function anymore? TY
@@Rhythm24inch i put it all back together yesterday with a new battery and it works beautifully! The only thing that kinda slipped me up is i wasnt sure if i reset the battery correctly, no errors or anything but i had a hard time telling if it actually reset or not. Thanks for the reply, keep doing what you do!🐐🔥
@@Joey.420 great job man! Yes I just did one too and didn't reset the battery by joining AC and - with tweezers but mine also works perfectly without so all good 👍💪
You move tweezers from the battery up like a popping bottle cap. your hand should be above the battery so you don't need to remove paper at all to do the change.
Very thin tweezers can get it from the middle groove. You can also use a thumb tack if thats all you have. The sides are harder (as he did it) because it is easier to slip and cause damage. Insert the tool straight down and pry towards the outside of the case. It is a loop and hook. Use a peice if peg wood to hold the battery cage so it doesn't fly across the room or hit you in the eye.
Good vid. Thanks :) Only minor point is that you didn't show how to AC reset before closing the back. Suggest anyone viewing this should also look at your separate video on this at ruclips.net/video/malHprlfp6w/видео.html otherwise the watch will not work properly.
A spring that makes contact to the case back is usually the reason for accessory functions not working after a battery change. Does the alarm and function tone work? Try resetting it again with the AC short. Hopefully you didn't lose a spring in the battery replacment.
@@gregrepac6654 spring is on place this was my first hint plastic cover too everything works fine i can turn on and off auto light but light not work ;(
@@Tomaszinotar Might have to bring it in to a pro to be diagnosed. There is either a fault or the led is done. I would consider just living with it, as the repair could exceed the value of the watch, unless of coarse it is a sentimental watch.
@@gregrepac6654 is it a tiny little tube looking spring ? I just pulled my battery, and noticed there is one laying there, and no clue where it came from.
1. Must reset timer at AC hole to ground 2. Must put silicon at 0 ring 3. X style tu put screw at back case This video are rubbish that why not water proof & will be troble later.
Best how-to video I've ever watched. Simple, straightforward, & no unnecessary talking.

If you put it back it will be fine, it's a sensor of some kind or to ground the back

Would have been nice if you described how to actually remove the battery from the clip...
