Apps suck girl! Lol go meet someone in person! I dress nice and go to charity events or restaurants. You’d be surprised how many cool guys approach when you are just alone hanging by yourself. I recently started doing this and it actually works.
I totally agree with you. I've tried a couple dating apps, and well, let's just say, those apps had a lot to be desired. I think it's best to just get with someone in real life. I know it can be a little hard though, with the times we're living in.
@@habeebahs.2956 yeah I mean don’t get me wrong I have friends that have met someone on an app but out of all one married. The rest have been either toyed with or are in some strange relationship circumstances and don’t want to leave because they are tired of swiping. It’s tough times I agree but now the pandemic is winding down a bit it’s possible to do in person. As women we have that feminine power at our advantage. Just look approachable and use common sense and personally I feel like a man with balls to come up to you in person is way better than one lurking behind a screen.
I believe in that too but what kind of charity events will I be able to find Muslim potential is the problem 😭😭😭
@@Catqueen_111 if they are done by Muslims for the community, those are best. Like for example I’m half south Asian and black Muslim, I go to events locally even conferences by people in my communities. I’ve met wonderful Muslim men and women through doing that but not the one yet (soon inshallah) but trust me it’s an option. Just networking at a conference or event, you’d be surprise. Even if you don’t meet someone you are getting that human interaction in person! Which is so much better.
@@nesikhaNofret Thank you so much for the advice, I will definitely try to do that more often. Unfortunately I live in a small town so they rarely hold Muslim evens here. But I’m planning on attending ICNA this year in May, I’m hoping to network with more people and try to break out of my introvert shell before giving up completely 😭

personally i really liked hinge, the muslim men on there were more well rounded, fun and also no offense less fresh but the issue i had was the ones i was coming across were not really on deen but personality, looks and everything else was there :(
Girl, you only have 21 messages after an entire week? I had 35 likes/messages on day 1, and that's because I don't limit myself to only black men. When i set my hinge to black, muslim . I swiped for two-ish day and it told i was out of options. Increased my radius, and that lasted for less than a week 😂😂😂. I ran out of matches real quick! The “good” thing with hinge is you don’t have to actively swipe to get messages but as you mentioned, i like to go for who i like and not wait around. But when you’re in that online dating burnout. Its good.

We do date but it’s not the way you think. We make sure to keep it as halal as possible meaning no touching, kissing, or sexual flirting. The end goal is marriage and after that we can do whatever. It’s basically courting lol. I hope this helps.
