They had to hide adam Cole and disguise him in a wheelchair to hide him from the building and locker room ....now you can jus hide them in the crowd all show until you need them 😂
If AEW can’t rebound with a new streaming audience then it’s over. WB is clearly giving TK and AEW an ultimatum. We will give you everything for your main Dynamite show. BUT if you can’t deliver. We are done giving you a chance. AEW needs to tell stories and major ones at that. These stories currently are simple and boil down to “grrrr you beat me or cost me a title shot or a change at a title shot, let’s wrestle” then they wrestle, match is cool, then boom move on to the next match.
It's funny when I see comments on videos about AEW and the typical fan mentions the shortcomings and stupid stuff AEW does is universal. But instead of using it to figure out why ratings are bad and attendance is abysmal, Tony Clown just says "Everything's great. We're doing incredibly well." And then blames everyone but himself for the bottom falling out of AEW. From 2019 til 2021, Tony was the savior of pro wrestling. The anti-Vince. Now he's just looked at as a money-mark clown that continues to get in his own way.
They're not quite dead in the water but Tony is gonna have to make some tough decisions. Tony if you ever see this here are some suggestions . Have a hiring freeze for 2 years and see who is worth keeping and who you should get rid of . . Turn ROH into a developmental show and put talents like Billie Starks, Hook, Daniel Garcia, and several others like that into the show and have them train in the ROH dojo . Also move the Dojo from Baltimore to Jacksonville and turn it into a training facility for everyone . Or have a brand split , get rid if Rampage, use collision as the other brand show, and have the ROH belts be that shows belts . Bring in people who understand the pro wrestling business who can lay down the law . Bury the Hatchett with GCW . Do what Japanese promotions do and send wrestlers on excursion to NJPW, CMLL, and Stardom . Stop mentioning WWE
Much prefer aew over the Vince product. And I want all wrestling feds to do well. But you can't deny the major step back aew took in 2024. Hopefully they bounce back.
as a person who grew up on wwe. I only watch what storyline that interest me for any promotion. With that being said, swerve was the only one worth watching ion aew this year
If most wrestling fans had a brain in their heads, okada would of been the biggest signing in the company’s history, but they value catch Phrases and spot monkeys over, you know, being able to actually work in the ring…weird request I know but we r talking about WRESTLING here
AEW falling into the rut they have fallen into comes down to Tony Khan not doing everything in his power to resign Cody and completely mishandling the Punk situation. AEW fanboys can get as mad as they want about this, but Cody and Punk would have been the only true stars in that company right now, and even Edge doesn't carry that same star power so they are now stuck with a bunch of indy goobers that clearly no main stream audience will ever give a fuck about. Their story telling is amateur at best and non existent at worst. Not only that but it feels like their production has really fallen off as well. I want this company to succeed so wrestlers can make money beyond WWE but I don't know if Tony Khan is stable enough or smart enough to understand that the best path forward is for him to hand a lot of decision making away to people taht actually know how to run a wrestling company. He is a lost child in a world he clearly doesn't understand.
They got wrestlers with good matches but they actually need to tone it down...and focus more on their trash story lines & maybe too many wrestlers need characters
AEW us the only company that can, not only make such a massive, gamechanging signing seem unimportant, but WASTE IT IN LESS THAN A MONTH. ocody joining the golden fleece, let alone the cukomanga kids, is such a terrible move. he was one of NJPW's biggest stars of the last decade, and they instantly made him into a joke.
Short Answer: No Not Short Answer: No. Was it when AEW was at its Coldest? Yes. Did AEW make a ton of missteps and mistakes? Yes. Did they have a ton of great shows? Yes. Did they have a ton of great matches? Yes. Did they have a number of underwhelming matches? Yes. Is an overwhelming majority of the negativity towards AEW justified? No. Is there a very vocal group of fans who are blindly positive and annoyingly defensive in response to negative comments towards AEW? Yes. Is AEW bad? No. Is AEW dying? Absolutely fucking not anytime soon. Are there people on the internet who make being Anti-AEW or Pro-AEW their entire identity? Absolutely. Are those people the worst wrestling “fans” in existence? Yes. Are there content creators who prioritize making content specifically about AEW and primarily critical, or even blatantly negative, because that’s what’ll get more clicks and attention and will likely lead to more views and money? Oh you better believe.
then what was AEW's worst year? no one said AEW is dying, or heck, that its even bad. the video says that this is AEW's worst year. and its TRUE. look at the numbers. viewership is down. demo is down. attendence is WAAAYYYY down. just by the numbers, it is, objectively, their worst year. and by the way, when you say a promotion is at it's coldest, it usually means whe its at it's LOWEST, aka, having the WORST time.
Jumping on a band wagon after bigging up this place all year. Guy with no name are getting released cause Tony has no time to get on the board these days

Honest question has this channel simply become an Anti AEW video? More times than not it’s all I see come up on here. A 3 hour video? You got too much time on your hands lol 2022 was their worst year btw
the numbers say otherwise. when you have the lowest viewership, attendence, and demos of your entire existence in the company, its not awesome. you may think it's awesome. objectively though? it is BAD. REALLY. REALLY. BAD. and its all their own fault.
@@fscorpion678 maybe so, doesn't deny that this is AEW's worst year. First, WWE still has millions of viewers, unlike AEW. Second, this is NOT WWE's worst year. In fact, the last two years are the best years WWE had in a WHILE. Not the best overall, but far, FAR from the worst.
@@kevinklimack that I totally agree with. But being someone who watches both and know more than a few people who watch both, even when we enjoy AEW, we can infer and see that it's not the same. They are just not doing as good, wether by their creative, general decisions, booking and the likes.

YEAR. no one shits on it. we are stating facts. wwere the releases a bad move? fact, either book them or have the released earlier instead of just not showing up. was airing the cm punk footage right? yes, you proved that, while he was unproffesional, he speaks the truth, as the incident happened almost word to word to what he said. did the PPVs kinda suck? yes. weird matches, sometimes uneccesary, and in any case dont make any sens. the death riders are a failure. orange cassidy is a joke (which he has been presented as for 5 years). you cant deny all of this. and if you think you can, get off the copium, stan.
@@MADGUNSMONSTER No these fans for WWE ass kissers want to see this company go out of business
@@yotambirinbaum6159 I didn’t say him!!But y’all are naïve if you truly don’t believe people wanna see this company out of business
They had to hide adam Cole and disguise him in a wheelchair to hide him from the building and locker room ....now you can jus hide them in the crowd all show until you need them 😂
Aew major problem is tony khan unexperience creative, executive and staff at there.
Tony khan always blame wwe for their success.
Fact check. Moxley and Jericho are allowed to appear on the GCW shows.
Can’t wait to watch “The story of AEW” on the WWE Vault
34:14 don’t tell that to Dave Meltzer, he’ll try and jump through the screen at you
When you lose 40% of your viewers in 12 months, you had a bad year.
They're not quite dead in the water but Tony is gonna have to make some tough decisions. Tony if you ever see this here are some suggestions
. Have a hiring freeze for 2 years and see who is worth keeping and who you should get rid of .
. Turn ROH into a developmental show and put talents like Billie Starks, Hook, Daniel Garcia, and several others like that into the show and have them train in the ROH dojo . Also move the Dojo from Baltimore to Jacksonville and turn it into a training facility for everyone
. Or have a brand split , get rid if Rampage, use collision as the other brand show, and have the ROH belts be that shows belts
. Bring in people who understand the pro wrestling business who can lay down the law
. Bury the Hatchett with GCW
. Do what Japanese promotions do and send wrestlers on excursion to NJPW, CMLL, and Stardom
. Stop mentioning WWE
Worst AEW moment of the year:
Skye Blue's injury! 😭😭😭😭😭
2025 is just shadow boxing in the corner, waiting for Tony Khan.
I didn't realize Gravity was a real wrestler. I thought it was just a funny name people used to make fun of the generic high flyers in AEW.
AEW videos must be this channel's biggest engagement 😂💀
😂😂😂 Aew Give Out Great Content
@@KesiaR666 It used to be Control Your Narrative.
AEW hate grifters are the same as MAGA grifters.
@fscorpion678 both universally loved by the khan's
Much prefer aew over the Vince product. And I want all wrestling feds to do well. But you can't deny the major step back aew took in 2024. Hopefully they bounce back.
A billion dollar TV deal is such a downfall.....
555 million isn’t quite a billion
@@ShaneTumminello 200M x 4 + the Spanish TV deals, and Canadian TV deals, so yeah, a Billion dollars in TV deals. totally means AEW is Dying.
Cool video as always Tom 💯
as a person who grew up on wwe. I only watch what storyline that interest me for any promotion. With that being said, swerve was the only one worth watching ion aew this year
I prayed for this and it happened
Sasha Banks will never get the appreciation she deserves in AEW. I hope she gets the experiences and fulfillment she needs and returns to WWE.
the cesspool that is this comment section is just as bad as this guy’s thumbnails
This video isn’t long enough 😊
feel like this year or last year was the worst or most up and down year of all aew
3 hours. Yes perfect video to listen to while doing my school work
"the worst year ever in AEW history! .... until next year. 😂😂
But Dave Meltzer says they're cool.
If most wrestling fans had a brain in their heads, okada would of been the biggest signing in the company’s history, but they value catch Phrases and spot monkeys over, you know, being able to actually work in the ring…weird request I know but we r talking about WRESTLING here
AEW had a mixture of good and bad of a year
AEW falling into the rut they have fallen into comes down to Tony Khan not doing everything in his power to resign Cody and completely mishandling the Punk situation.
Good video !!
I like your video ❤
They got wrestlers with good matches but they actually need to tone it down...and focus more on their trash story lines
& maybe too many wrestlers need characters
Insufficient data: Low sample size (year total).
Baha
They fired Dasha so they could hire MJF's girl.
Is it the worst year? No, cause there's still 2025
the worst year YET
I watch this video to learn about aew since I don't watch plus my cigar is a long smoke so I have time. Thanks for the video
Ocody has one of the biggest signings? Who actually cares about these dudes?!
Their families.
And thanks for the Jim Cornette-ism!!
AEW us the only company that can, not only make such a massive, gamechanging signing seem unimportant, but WASTE IT IN LESS THAN A MONTH. ocody joining the golden fleece, let alone the cukomanga kids, is such a terrible move. he was one of NJPW's biggest stars of the last decade, and they instantly made him into a joke.
this is just an aew channel at this point lmao
Short Answer: No
Not Short Answer: No.
I feel bad for slim j
idk man i think they're doing great
3 hours! You are going in but you’re not wrong, you’re saying what everyone is thinking
I've never been so scared as I am, watching this video. I'm afraid for my life. 😂
Jumping on a band wagon after bigging up this place all year. Guy with no name are getting released cause Tony has no time to get on the board these days
What's wwe better is they have good storylines, plus they produce a better show then aew
Thanks for reminding me what a clown Jack Perry is. He reminds of Seth Rollins, a fake tough guy who probably couldn’t actually kick anyone’s ass in reality lol
WWE ❤& AEW 😢
"budget cuts" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Until next year
Ill still be watching when you see this comment 😭
Worst year…so far
Yes by far.
Their worst year so far. 😆
tldw more wrestling tribalism
aew are tna 2.0 just with a bigger bank account
You liked most of the matches so how could it have been their worst year?
Three ratings and the storytelling is terrible releasing backstage footage harmed them and many things as well
Honest question has this channel simply become an Anti AEW video? More times than not it’s all I see come up on here.
A 3 hour video? You got too much time on your hands lol
2022 was their worst year btw
This channel has THE worst artwork, and the content is awful, how does this channel have subscribers?
The narcissism required to talk like this. Shocker I know your opinion isn't universal
2024 was awesome for AEW!
the numbers say otherwise. when you have the lowest viewership, attendence, and demos of your entire existence in the company, its not awesome. you may think it's awesome. objectively though? it is BAD. REALLY. REALLY. BAD. and its all their own fault.
@@yotambirinbaum6159Objectively WWE lost the same average of viewers.
Everyone is allowed their opinion but most of the AEW haters haven’t seen an episode. They are simply pro-WWE when they could enjoy both.
I'm 2 minutes in and it already sounds like a Mark who pays $14.99 a month.
A 3hour video just to go after aew is truly something. I get that the company is bad, but still….
Brother Aew is striving come on man. Darby vs Ospreay on the latest Dynamite cements it. Stop clickbaiting this stupid concept
