It is very fast paced. You can spawn right into the fight, and if you die you spawn in that area you were just in. It is the most intense game I have ever played.
@lukekk2 Insurgency needs to hit the empire the hardest as it possibly can to compensate for smaller numbers and take the most damage so troops and equipment survive in order to fight again.

Actually if you've played planetside 1 there are incentives to go with any faction thats suffering in the number of players. many people choose factions based off real world military tech, NC has a lot of tough tanks and tough mechs. it can also be based off design choice. NC's vehicles are very angular and plate armored
I kind of thought the Terran Republic, in general, seems to get the most hype. Maybe not specifically from the admins though. I definitely think the Terrans and the Vanu are going to be the two "cool" factions, while the New Conglomerate players will get a sense of feeling like the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars and fighting for a just cause and such. Thinking about this game gives me jitters of excitement.
I'm also glad the armor customization and weapon customization (Look & Function) is going to play a large part. Now we won't have exact clones of everyone running around.
There are 2,000 players in a single server which will be increased to 6,000 spread out over 3 continents you can travel back and forth too. There are hundreds of people taking part in single battles. It is the most intense gaming experience I have EVER had in my entire life. I am not sure where you got the idea that a game on this scale could be boring. It isn't.
New Conglomerate can win this easy. THey ahve a muhc higher moral pool then people who worship technology or are just fighting for pay like army regulars. Long live the NC!

just because i think like a kid it doesnt mean i am wrong... i have played so many games that i have learned that even if you think that the Cool race will lose because only noobs chose it your wrong. i have learned that because to many people are noobs like 70% of all players that means that 70% of the noob side will be on my side and 30 on yours(if you think like that). but no need to arrgue we will just need to wait and hope we will meet in the battleground :D

I'd have to say I like how the NC look the most out of the 3 factions. I've always liked the guerrilla/rebel soldier look they've had.
The Reaver reminds me of the "choppers" from G-Police... NC FOREVER!

I played the trial version when I was like 13 and went TR, but returning now in PS2 I'm definitely going NC.
