- Akkerbouwbedrijf De Zeeuw aan het wortels rooien met hun Fendt 516 Vario met een Asa-lift wortel rooier. De wortels werden naar het erf gereden met een Fendt 820 , 724 Vario beide met een Samon kistenwagen. Op het erf werden de kisten over geladen met de heftruck in een trailer achter een Fendt 415. Die reed de kisten naar het landbouwbedrijf.
Arable farm De Zeeuw harvesting carrots with their Fendt 516 Vario with an Asa-lift carrot harvester. The carrots were driven to the yard with a Fendt 820, 724 Vario, both with a Samon boxcar. In the yard, the boxes were loaded with the forklift into a trailer behind a Fendt 415. That drove the boxes to the farm.

Why don't the US grow more variety and less fricken corn, soybeans, wheat, and rice? Groceries would be a lot more affordable!!!
The US does grow almost every conceivable fruit and vegetable.
You read/hear about corn, soybeans, wheat, and rice because that's the global commodities... and you're a major producer of them all.
Regarding the retail price of groceries -- the majority of the cost to the consumer of fruit and vegetables (and meat for that matter) is due to after-farm costs -- shipping logistics, added profit margin of any businesses in-between the farm gate and retail outlet, retail outlet profit margin, etc.
