Hi Brandy, I am a new subscriber and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy watching your tutorials! I have been making my way through your videos. I am addicted now. I never knew there were so many products and techniques. Thank you for demonstrating so many beautiful ways to paint furniture. The set in this video is just gorgeous! I also noticed that you are left handed. I am too. That explains the awesome creativity that flows from your brain. Have a wonderful weekend! Sheryl Santoro from south Florida.

Loves this video! The pieces are gorgeous!! Thanks for going into detail about your sprayers. I've been researching them and was thoroughly confused. Your tutorials save ne time and money and minimize our mistakes. Priceless!!
Love your videos thank you. Just starting out and love metallics but not up to a sprayer yet! Any chance of you doing a short video of metallics with a brush please. Keep up the good work xxx
This was so informative, I am looking at getting a spray gun so this gave me something to think about...thank you Brandy. And the furniture is gorgeous...❤️😊
Gorgeous ! Thank you for going through the sprayers and their differencee. I AM JUST getting started and had no idea what direction to go in regarding sprayers.
Thank you.. I think you were reading my mind. You don't really ever show when you spray your finish at least I couldn't find a video of it. I've been looking at sprayers but wasn't sure which way to go as far as electric or pneumatic. Middle of the road for me! Thanks again. Oh and I would love to see a video of you spraying a finish.. just saying 😉
Good Morning Ms. BRANDY...I must tell u you are awesome I love this color u put together. I have a dilemma and I'm looking for help. I order a table with metal legs they looked like a champagne color on screen but they were actually silver..How can I obtain the champagne look on metal and should I send 1st there isnobuild upthe piece is brand new
This is beautiful! What do you mean by "base of satin" before the Gator Hide? I use Gator Hide over paint, but do not stain often so I am curious of what the satin is?
I would love to get a sprayer, but spending that much on a 220 device when I'm only going to be in Europe for two years just seems frivolous. I'm envious!
Yes, that is frustrating. I do know Crys'Dawna has an Apollo with 220, and when she gets back to the states they will help her convert it back, a part change, just an option
The Husky have 1.4mm spray nozzle, do you need to thin the metallic at all? Got some Dixie Bell and some Polyvine Metallic (Poly needs 10% from the supplier for spraying) what about the Dixie Bell Metallic? Great informative video!
@@BrushedbyBrandy Hi Brandy, thanks for getting back to me. Can advise on the tip size, is the 1.4mm suitable or do you need a larger tip for metallics? Not putting out much paint, so wondering if it needs a larger size.
Thank you for the sprayer info! I'm looking for a professional one that would also be able to spray polyurethane for furniture? Would the Apollo hold up well for that type of finish, too? Thank you!
You have made me a metallic finish fan. Truly beautiful
A well done metallic is mesmerizing in the light ❤

You are a genius! 🤯 And I think I need to bump up to that husky sprayer. I’ll check it out.
That husky gun is pretty nice, Sean prefers to spray with pneumatic
Amazing -- no, Phenomenal -- job on these furniture pieces! Brandy, I would love the tops to be a faux black marble with a satin polyurethane finish.

Yes, can definitely spray oil based as well, just make sure you clean well afterwards

Do you need go paint hardware before you use gilding wax?
Help! I'm on a budget I have a flexio 3000 wagner sprayer and trying to paint a couple frames silver will this technique work with that sprayer?
What about using Chalk Paint in a sprayer? Does it work? And can the new Silk Paint be used in a sprayer?
Yes, you can spray silk and dixie belle chalk mineral paint, they do require some dilution
Thanks a lot. I'll give it a try ☺
Looks amazing and expensive!
Yes - it definitely has an old hollywood vibe!
How many top coats do you put on your furniture?
It really varies by what products I used, and what the piece will be used for.
Lol Frankensets!
Haha, a mad scientist over here
