problem: if you using engi for the strat you dont need to grind hc alr cos u prob alr have accel and brawler too
If you're grinding hardcore, you're not using only 2 slots 😂

Didn't Mercenary Base have a buff that will give the towers around it more damaged (I don't know if it's 10% or 20%)
It's 10% at lvl 3 and 20% at max lvl

when u play solo u can place 3 mercs
could've reached w50 by switching to riot guards for w48 airdrops, you weren't gonna triumph anyways so trying to keep on stacking grenadiers and riflemen was too ambitious

Only candidates I can think of are ace pilot and engi. Ace falls off lategame and engi probably can’t deal with wave 25 unless you manage to get 1 or 2 lvl 5 engi’s.
Edit: ace wouldn’t even work since you can’t get hidden detection in time. Maybe if you micro and skip specific waves you can but idk
