2015 Mercedes ML400 4Matic - Off Road And Track Review

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML400 4Matic. This is a premium SUV from Mercedes, featuring a 3.0L V6 producing 329 HP, which I’ll be comparing to the Acura MDX, BMW X5 M and X6 M, Cadillac Escalade, and Volkswagen Touareg. The Mercedes wasn’t particularly bad compared with the competition in many ways, but nor was it superior. It sat in the middle of the group on many things: price, power, headroom and legroom, fuel economy, and towing capacity. It did however offer significant cargo space over everything except the Cadillac. It’s air suspension with adjustable ride-height is also a nice perk for off-roadability.
This vehicle was tested as part of the 2015 Northwest Automotive Press Association’s Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year competition. The vehicle category and competing vehicles are below:

Why compare this to a X5M or X6M? If you're doing that, use the ML63.
