- Blizzard has just revealed the next hero in Overwatch, Moira at Blizzcon 2017. She is a support hero who is capable of doing tons of damage. This is Overwatch News

SIMPLE GEOMETRY
i feel like she is a mix of a lot of the healers like how orisa was a mix of all of the tanks
here is her kit you can see how it works better than it shows in the video, she can choose to heal or damage with her basics it has a somewhat short range she can shoot a bouncing orb that damages or heals multiple allies and she has a better shadow step than reaper the flanker she's actually pretty unique not that much of a mix

At 2:43 you can see Moira move with the ult so the ult isnt stationary.
She is turning not moving
She’s turning but not moving it was a camera transition that made it look like she moved
If you do look close enough the wall she is facing(or were her teammates were coming from) moves out like if she was strafing
Ana Amari she is moving
Yes it seems like she's able to move a small amount. I personally suspect slowed movement speed to counteract how powerful the beam is, but we'll have to see.
Maybe Moira was the one who brought back reaper.

Well that's not exactly cannon and we can tell from her story and I quote "Over a decade ago, O'Deorain made waves when she published a controversial paper detailing a methodology for creating custom genetic programs that could alter DNA at a cellular level. It seemed like a promising step toward overcoming diseases and disorders and maximizing human potential." plus she worked under Reyes "She received a lifeline in an offer from an unlikely source: Overwatch's covert ops division, Blackwatch. She continued her work in the shadows while developing new weapons and technologies for the organization." it is more likely that Moira brought back the Reaper or at the very least put him in his state of continuous decay/regeneration.

Stuff I've noted:
Moria seems to actually switch between healer and damage, as if changing the fluid on her back.
Her ulitmate isn't a stationary ultimate.
I've seen things where people say she's doesn't have personality because she has lots of similar voice lines and has a similar "highlight intro" to Zenyatta but I see the voice lines as a mocking character. When she kills Hanzo: Simple geometry and when she out does Soldier: I'm feeling unstoppable. If this is what it is that she mocks I love it because it shows a bit of awareness to other character specific lines
She looks like a Battleborn character.
Her whole ability set is copied from the Paladins character Torwald, who has been in Paladins for over a year. Nice going blizzard.

there is also a healing orb (0:48), so prob she will have 2 weapons to switch (heal and dmg), each with a primary beam and a secondaty orb.
She's basically a mix between Zenyatta, Mercy, Symmetra, and Reapers with his teleport ability but faster. Also on another note an evil support hero I think I might be in love. Can't wait to test her out in game.

AbsolAnimations I think it was the camera transition made it look like she moved. She was stationary when killing Pharah and healing her teammates. She’s gunna be stationary during her Ultimate so that way it’s balanced

The orb actually deal damage and healing by lighting(or something similair),they actually can heal muti-people(Mercy ult...)and damage muti-people

I had a concept idea a while back of a character that could drain the life force out of others and then rechannel it to heal someone else. And apparently that's exactly how Moira's healing works. Awesome.

Her ultimate is basically kamehameha and her walk animation is a ninja
Why is jenos in overwatch?
Right at the end of Moiras ultimate she begins to move to the left.
She can move during ultimate you can see her take at least 1 or 2 steps before killing the bastion and the other 2 with her ultimate
She has at least a bit of mobility while using her ultimate if you look closely she moves a bit after killing pharah, its about 1:05 on overwatches video
Let's hope the sprays and achievements are cool
All I need is an estimated ptr date so I can test her. I'm guessing they will announce that during one of the overwatch events at blizzcon though. I hope it's before Christmas though

why is she like jenos ult from paladins, and just like yings teleport, looks cool still but her ult is super similar to jenos from paladins

or neither copied either and similar abilities will appear in all games no matter what it is unless you were the first to implement something like it it
Also, I just realized you said it was just like Ying's teleport it is nothing like Yings teleport also why do people go there first, make comparisons to other games
She dosnt teleport it's basically a combo of readers and sombras abilitys

Kanon Pedersen exactly! Why are they always making one support as the powerhouse? Ana, then lucio was buffed, now mercy, who lately has been getting thrown under the bus, and driven over again in reverse. This doesn't settle well with me I can already see complaints about Moira in every match until she too has her utility thrown out the window.
Robbie Medeiros and then they’ll buff another healer, everyone will play them, and the cycle continues.

Kanon Pedersen I've been a rein pharah and mercy player since release and I've noticed that mercy has always been changed based on player complaints. Around the time s5 was starting was when we got the "spawn Rez" nerf and they tweaked it beyond that reducing her Rez range entirely. The mercy rework was the worst thing to ever happen to the game. A supports ability crucial to that heroes gameplay and the jeopardy of the team in a TEAM BASED game, nerfed beyond utility. Rez in its current state will just kill off mercy or the ability altogether. We desperately need a choice ult based mechanic for mercy like symmetra, letting her choose between valk or her old Rez.
She can move, look at the end of the beam, she moves left
around the end of the ultimate clip, she was moving
Damn Moira has Zen’s healing orbs, Symmetra’s orb attack, Reaper’s teleport, and Boruto’s dad’s run 😂 My new main ❤️

Heals like zen and mercy also purple orb is like some sort of discord that deals damage. Ult is really cool tho. Heals and does damage
I'm excited! She kinda reminds me of Xenobia from Gigantic.
Looks like a fun character for a custom boss mode. I can imagine doing slow spamming death balls with high damage.

You can probably stun and hook her out of her ult, be need to go up behind her so she don't kill you in one shot.

People don’t seem to realize just bc her abilities in this trailer kills fast doesn’t mean they will in game
I think she’s too much like Zenyatta... I’m not complaining or anything, I just think they could’ve done better

Did a great job on her design plus her other costumes she’ll be getting
AMALIN but the whole lore is that biotic healing is yellow its what is used to heal in this universe. ANA uses Mercy's yellow healing thing in her gun. This is why I'm glad people on the internet aren't making the decisions back there.

IM SO MAD THAT SHES A SUPPORT, but anyways she is literally a mix of symmetra reaper and zenyatta, but I believe zen does more damage, at least I hope so

JustTheBasics seeing that medical science is now capable of making people look young (Mercy is around the same age as soldier76) it's no surprise that she looks good
