    That’s how it felt hauling catalyst to the fcc units in refineries. I would love to get home but I get more sleep in the truck.

    You're gonna have good days, mediocre days, then you're gonna have pure 💩 days. But on average, you can make a good living. 24 years in the fuel business in the Texas Panhandle. I run a lot more miles than what you do. Some days, I run over 600 miles on 3 loads. Like you said, keep that left door closed and the wheels turning. Great information you just give. Keep up the great work and videos. 👍

    As a retired driver (51 years driving) I still get out on occasion I know what you mean about hustle! I spent most of my career in specialized and heavy haul so I understand long hours and being away from home. Your videos are great and very real I hope you keep making them. I love your passion and professionalism for your work and your rig. God bless and be well

    Hey man good to see you up & at it. I think we started our RUclips around the same time. Your page is really taking off. I was posting every day but like you say it’s so much time put into it. We honestly have enough content up for a whole year already lol. That’s what I was told from a friend that has a huge following on RUclips. So I recently started posting every other day. Or I’ll just do a short one day. & put out a vid the next. Once your audience builds up. You can post once or twice a week and still grow your channel.

    I think you need to look at it from a math standpoint. What type of content got the most views, what week of content got the most views, and most importantly, what content got you the most subscribers. The numbers will tell you the story. When you get a substantial number of subscribers, look to monetize it... I personally like watching the loading and offloading with a little road time mixed in. Since many of us are interested in hauling fuel, I would think the loading and offloading would get the most watched.

    I haul fuel for flying j locally what a lot of people don’t understand is that it is one of the hardest jobs in trucking.Gotta run real hard to make a days workload. We are out of the truck a lot cold rain or shine. This is not a job for everyone. A lot of drivers approach me at truck stops asking me how much we make and all that ,they think this job is cake because they see us playing on our phones while unloading

    What’s good Mike, haven’t been able to watch your new videos since I’ve been busy with work. Had no idea you got sick, you a tough man and you’ll get better before you know it, no doubt about it 💪💪
    Just wanted to touch on what you’re speaking about how you run the channel, I love the everyday videos.. but even myself can’t keep up with them as much as I’d want to.. and that’s just coming from a damn viewer.. so I can’t imagine how it is for you being the creator.
    I learned from you, God is 1st, Family is 2nd, your bread/occupation/livelihood/health/rest/mental state is 3rd.. the channel/content comes last after all.
    Don’t hold this channel too high above anything else man, us supporters, us subscribers, aren’t going anywhere.
    The more rest you get, the more attention to detail you’re able to provide to the production of your content, the time in between videos, all comes full circle and will do nothing but benefit you and the viewer. Also will build anticipation amongst your frequent viewers on the next drop of a - Life on 18 Wheels video 💯
    You can always bounce back and forth from doing daily vlogs and weekly videos.. as long as you announce “Hey guys I’m doing posting videos EVERYDAY this week!” Those moments will mean even more to you and us.
    That’s just how I see it from my perspective, love your content man. Can’t wait to see you keep growing, keep providing for your family, keep getting stronger & healthier, keep hustling hard & inspiring the next generation.. keeping your imagination flowing into different ways to make your videos 🔥🔥
    It’s only up from here mane, can’t wait to see you drop that merch as well!!
    Thanks for this money breakdown too, love to hear the financial side of things.
    Goodnight Mike, Bless you and your family 💯💯

    Hello sir, thanks for all the videos and content that you create. I hope you get well. Drink some theraflu, or some ginger tea to stop the coughing and it will help you. When you deliver fuel, whats the skulley? If thats what its call. And you have different vapor connections on the trailer, how will a new guy doing fuel knows which vapor section you connect the vapor hose to?

    • @Life-On-18-Wheels
      @Life-On-18-Wheels  Год назад

      Thank you and the skully system on the trailer is basically the brain of the trailer it has sensors in the top of trailer and if you bump a probe the skully system will trip and shut the loading down so you don't dome out which is to say fuel come out top of trailer.. the skully system also grounds the trailer to the rack... and the vent lines on trailer for vapor recovery most trailers have 2 of them... while we are loading we usually just hook the vapor recovery to the closest one... and 99% of the time while we are unloading recovering vapors we hook it to the one by our loading heads... hope that explained it well
