Always is the hardest part of trucking for me, leaving the house. Also always on my mind when I’m gone is the families well being and not being close by for emergencies. That’s when a good woman at home can make being away so much easier. Thank the good Lord I am married to one
Hello from Ohio. I got my jaw cracked hard by this video. I am also a man who puts my family first at all cost to my own sanity. Be safe on the road, my fellow traveler
Used to Feel that same way myself when i’d leave out, been doing it 28 yrs now and back when my daughter was 3, she’s 31 now, my 2 sons are 23 and 18 now so it’s a lot easier on me now that i only go out for 5 days and back in for 2 or 3 days off, i listen to my spotify songs and podcasts and some audiobooks to pass the time and some siriusxm here and there. Y’all be safe.✌🏼
Good day Michael, 👋🏽just know that the great cloud of witnesses are above you and with you every step of the way as you journey forward on the road🙏🏽📖. Your assignment is important, for sure!❤️Be well
Love your channel, your content, thanks for sharing your adventures. When I drove, loved being on the road, but it was hard to leave, once I hit the road I was good.
Your videos started popping up on my recommended videos when you got your new truck. I never saw your videos before that. The video that your daughter rode along with you.
I did the otr thing for a few years, then I did regional work home every weekend. My boys got to be teenagers and I had to go local. That was 12 years ago and I haven't regretted it. Now I'm really local, home daily and off on the weekends. Yeah, I took a pay cut, had to get rid of a few payments and keep my old pickup but it's worth it. I've been with the same company for 12 years pulling flatbed.
@@Life-On-18-Wheels good deal. It was really hard for me to give up having a newer pickup every couple of years, and to be able to go out and eat three or four times a weekend, stuff like that. But when I realized that those were the things that was keeping in those chains I had to make a decision. Don't get me wrong, I still have withdrawals..lol
I know once I get away from my home in PA? I start feeling better. If I head east it's hour and a half and those voices are still close. If I'm going north or west? It takes up to 3 hours to cross the state line. By then? I'm in the zone and rolling
Well, maybe you can try turning everything off. 10 minutes. Turn on the power and the truck. See if that helps. Might need a 10 hour nap and the power disconnected to chase the gremlins away! Lol! Safe travels and blessings and peace always
Afternoon brother Mike, sorry for the late response but first week back after vacation, getting back into routine. Agree on both leaving the house and working late into the day. Be safe brother, running across North Montana 🙏 👍
It could be your alternator or starter doing it I would ask the shop to test your starter and alternator hope you get it fixed right nothing like electrical problems
I think we figured it out.. I usually leave the ac on when I shut truck off.. and the blower motors in the cab and sleeper is what is causing it I believe.. so we started shutting them off and it ain't done it again
