  • Test on 2 types of Antennas and the Eightwood Brand had better results. Was also much cheaper!

Didn't get a chance to update but I did snap a screenshot at the end.
The Eightwood outperformed the Spypoint Brand. I returned the Spypoint and bought several more from this seller on Ebay
Save your money! Glad I tested them both

I use my cameras for security on my property, I have a 1-2 bar cell signal...I have 2 cameras inside building and 2 outside ,I double up just because sometimes 1 of the 4 cameras wouldn't work. I added the Spypoint antenna on two of my cameras, One inside and one outside, neither said I gained and more of a signal but they both sent pics when they didn't before. I also tried a different antenna brand on another spypoint camera I have in a building, one that is attached to the camera and it seems to work better. Just purchased the new Flex and it has excellent connectivity out at my gate where none of the other cameras would work at all...

@@wallstreetbets9814 I've only had it a month so far...But its working great. They advertise a time lapse and time lapse + but I guess that will be a feature added later? They also advertise a battery pack for it(LT22 I think) but I don't see one out there yet and no security box either...but my cameras are up fairly high so its not necessary...

you have plenty of signal. Sounds like it might be another issue! I know Spypoint on 1 model type they will quit working. I got an email from Spypoint and on the app saying 1 of my cameras will soon go offline and I will need to purchase a new one and they offered a discount. This might be your problem I would call to see

@@wallstreetbets9814 When they changed to 5G here in Canada the first camera they put out stopped working, but that was 3-4 years ago. They let me keep my old camera as a stand alone and replaced it with a new camera for free...I would say his issue maybe with firmware updates...Many people don't update their firmware, another reason why I like the Flex, its does updates for you...

If you go to the spypoint app it will walk you through any issues you have with your camera...sometimes its just a matter of turning your camera off and back on or turning it off , remove the sd, replace the sd card and turn it back on...also make sure you format your card....
