We used to have a rug underneath our dining room table when our three kids were toddlers and it got so stained. Now that they’re 8,9 and 11 we don’t have a rug and the youngest sweeps either daily or every other day as his contribution to our family. It does look cute but you’re better off without it! 🥰🤟🏽
You may need magnesium supplement if your eye keeps twitching (a lot of ladies are deficient in it... eye twitching is one sign) ... I had to do that 😅
What you do is you don’t put a rug there and enjoy how easy it is to clean hard wood floors. I’m currently in a rental property with a carpeted dining room and it is awful. I would never dream of adding a rug once we’re able to escape this 😂😭. It is pretty though. Just wait until your kid is older I think.
Same and we opted for no rug for now and let me say clean up after meals is so fast just a quick sweep with the broom since it's hard wood floors and boom done
I didn’t bother, when my boys were young. The joy of hard wood floor is a vacuum and mop. It’s an added stress when they eat, side watching your mat. J👍🇦🇺
We have a rug under our table, but didn't until the kids were grown and out on their own. Love the rug under the table, but I agree with you about NOT having one when children are small.
Same thing with my eye . I went to eye doc and he said my eyes r to dry and my contacts r drying my eyes out to badly so I have to use a steroid drops for a week

thank you for that. i didn't know that. Very helpful.
I used an indoor/outdoor rug and it cleans up SO much easier.
We had a rug under the table growing up. My mom always made sure to buy a dark color and them she would get it professionally washed like once a year.

Rent a carpet cleaner from Home Depot and wash it once a month. Otherwise, in between use carpet stain remover

You can get a Ruggable rug. They're machine washable and you can get whatever type suits you

The ruggable rug is washable.
I have two tickets one which is extremely messy…like you said it’s not practical
scotchgard and maybe get a rug that is very multicolored
Are you guys following a color scheme? If not, a black rug might be a good choice for hiding stains.
I buy black towels to hide stains from hair dye.
We chose not to have a rug. I kept envisioning my child getting the chair caught on the rug and falling over.
I have children and a rug under my dinner table.
Ruggable! Spot clean and wash once a month unless more is needed.
Adding another vote for Ruggable! So easy to wash, fabulous designs!
I bought a rug ar a yard sale.
They can be washed
I've never heard of doing that. It sounds like the most impractical place for a rug. A bad idea. Child or no
