It's also worth it, I say, to cease farming an orange item once you get within 10 - 20 fragments of completing it; move on to a different item you need. You'll get the remaining fragments via a shop reliably.
what we need is a kinda resource that will summarize all items needed to be farmed for selected hero pool and most efficient set of campaign missions to farm it. Also there will be nice to discover the actual drop rate of items for every mission, to make more precise calculations of the number of runs needed
Love your videos! Not sure about this one though for me. I find the shops a really efficient way of getting heroes to max star level, which later gives you a lot more soul stone coins.
Thank you! I am not really a gamer, but i do enjoy HWM. Thanks for this. I hate wasting all this energy simply to not get all I need to level up my heroes. Thank you.
I was just recently using this method mentioned in the video to obtain some items. I just got my first purple which is Ginger around 10 minutes ago. I am trying to build my main team as a physical team for the Fire Hydra and build from there.
You mentioned that when you raid, you choose the highest mission that you can. I always choose the mission with the lowest energy. If there are more than 1 mission at the lowest energy, I'll choose the highest. The one exception is when there are missions that have multiple items I need. I do this to get more attempts for my energy (60 energy = 6 attempts @10energy vs. 10 attempts @6 energy). But now you have me wondering if the drop rates are better at higher missions? What do the maths say?
If I recall correctly, the drop rates are the same, regardless of what chapter it is. Somebody spent the energy and recorded the results, if I recall correctly. The only benefits of higher chapter missions is more gold and hero experience points for loot.
I’ll sometimes do a single raid test of a few missions when I have energy to burn. If one gets good returns within 3-5 single raids, then I go for it x10 or max raid. This has worked out pretty well for me. Though random, some missions return better than others on any given day (no pattern, just comparatively better in the moment.)
I learned this the hard way lol. Spent over 5000 energy to try and get a cosmic tremor for julius and got about halfway there lol. luckily a few of the items i need always pops up on the outland store and I just threw 40k emeralds at the last outland chest sale, so i have a ton of coins
In heroes way do u know much about the MATTET Transfigure thing I have rough idea but is it worth saving for 3mth or go the 40 soul stones each time because there pretty valuable also??? What u think cheers
Do I want to raid the highest level I can get an item from? It seems to me if the drop rate is the same (suggested on the wiki), I'm better off raiding 6 energy missions than 8 or 10, or is the wiki wrong on the drop rate being the same (by color)?
As a free to play player, it's taken about 4 months (so far) to get celeste from gold +4 to red +2. I have "parts of" 3 full items left to farm. Will take at least another two months... So 6 months to go from gold +4 to red +2 for one hero. I figure I'll have my maxed 5, in about 3 more years...
Hi Charles, I am wondering if you can do a guide on how to farm pet equipment from adventures. Is it better to do the highest adventure you can do and then buy the stones using chaos particles or do a lower level one to get the exact stones you need? Or wait for the storm to buy them using those points you get there?
You can farm white and green stones in the adventures easily , however blue and purple stones are way harder because you need other players to complete missions to get them , i suggest not wasting chaos particles on buying white or green stones at all .
2:15 you wouldn't be able to farm them anyways because in this game its not even true farming in away, games where you can farm its based on time, here its severe resource hindering i.e energy as the game wants you to splurge real money to refill. Even if you don't talk about orange just the pink need 20 to craft items you can throw the ENTIRE energy and get nothing, energy is eaten fast as turns are expensive and its rare you will even get anything back. If you farmed the example above 150 orange it would take you months (if you did NOTHING else) From what i can tell you'd best buying them in bulk via soul/outland shop
p.s lets not forget even if you through money at the game the ones with hero stones as shown 2:58 are limited so MORE money thrown at it or wait another 24hrs regardless the amount of energy you have p.p.s please fix dungeon omg you can't buy if you don't win the max battles to get titan coins and to upgrade titans is so hard 900 soul stones to evolve? guild shop to buy small potions when it takes thousands to level up? also those heroes ways/guild requires money/high guild winning to get resources
When you get items from the shop SAVE UP AND BUY THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS. It's a bigger time saver than collecting a lot of little items... But it takes serious discipline.
If you need that book, then you might as well buy every Pastor's Seal and Pastor's Seal fragment the shop offers you. Even if you think you have more than you need, you definitely don't have nearly enough.
@@Harris1st yes, it may cost less to purchase each individual part, but then you have to also spend coin to create the item. After that part, just buying the completed item from the store is the cheaper option.
I have played the Facebook version for two months now, am at team level 106. But I have not been able to promote characters higher than violet 2 or 3 for a while. The gear grind is just terrible. You need so many fragments and drop rates are terrible. You can go through 100 energy and maybe get 1 or 2 fragments. I am seriously thinking of stop playing, because there is no more progress. I do all the dailies, participate in events, but besides levelling up the team level every 2-3 days, there is not really any progress. EXP earned from battles are small and it takes forever to level up a hero. Even my top 5 team is not a max EXP level. This is a game for big money spenders, but for F2P players it is a huge waste of time with no progress.
So ironically you say don't spend coins on soul Stones so that you can get items that are rare, but you can only get Campaign 14 items from the Soul Store which comes from evolving your character up to max which requires what? Soul Stones. So in order to get access to Campaign 14 level items you need enough soul Stones. What's the quickest way to obtain soul Stones? Buying it from the different stores.
You can get an absolute star hero many different ways, aside from buying ss from shops. If you want them quick? sure buy from the shop. If you want to be the most efficient with your resources? don't buy soul stones from shops.
something you didn't mention was by using coins in the shop you can save on gold if your short on it it cheaper in the shop than spending it in advancement page of the hero also i(spend gold to create then spend gold to collect )f at 130 and you can raid the tower its cheaper to buy chest with free side as to spend emeralds on collect all chest big difference
suggestion, this game takes forever, as such start saving as suggested, except, buy them all, you never know when a new hero will come, you never know what you will need tomorrow. this is a game of who can save the best. GLID
RAIDS ARE A SCAM. I average less than 10% reture rate. I..e if I do a "ten raid", I get the item I'm going for LESS THAN 1X OUT OF TEN. The drop rate is criminal.
Sigh... the advice in this video is so half baked... If you're playing Facebook/Web, here's the actual best way of farming items (once you have access to the whole campaign): - when farming with energy, always prioritize Red items - when buying from the shops, always prioritize Purple items costing 1650 and Orange items costing 820; buying any other item from shops is a waste of coins, and should only be done if you get coins faster than you can spend them; and do not even think of buying Red items from shops... just about the worst waste of coins there is And contrary to what Charlie said about "farming with energy being ineffective", it really isn't. I did the math, and on average the time it will take you to farm the Red items you need with energy is pretty comparable to the time it takes to buy the Violet and Orange items you need from the shops.
@@iphixitube at 8:59 Charlie says "Don't forget to buy items from these shops. It is by far the best way to farm for items in this game. Farming for items with energy is completely inefficient and is very random" Call me crazy, but it seems to me that Charlie just said that getting items from shops is way better than getting them from campaign. And what I said was that, if you do the math, on average the amount of items you'll get from one is very comparable with the other. So neither shop is better than campaign nor vice versa. They are fairly even.
@@LuisPereira-bn8jq fair point mate. I see your point of view and it's probably worth making it clear that people should not abandon farming through the campaign. Good stuff!
@@iphixitube But it's obvious that you should farm from both campaign and shops, because the more items the better... The really interesting part, which is what my post was about, is which items to focus on campaign, and which items to focus on on shops. On campaign getting red and orange fragments costs more or less the same amount of energy. But with coins red fragments are twice as expensive as orange. So if you go around buying red fragments from shops you will have significantly less fragments than someone who follows my advice.
Luis, thank you for the valuable comment! Unfortunately this is all an entirely moot conversation within the context of this video. Obviously all players are going to continue to farm for items using their energy, it's an intrinsic part of the game. You are only guaranteed one item per x3 or x10 raid on FB/Web (note: this does not apply to mobile) which equates to roughly 2 guaranteed items (assuming you raid x3 at least one mission for the daily) per 1/4 of the average players energy per day. So we're looking at what..... 5-8 total guaranteed item fragments per day? (again, for the average player). Compared to a 10piece from a shop. You're not guaranteed an item that you need from the shop *every* day, but the point of the video is to remind players to go and look at it everyday.
