the villagers become fisherman because of the barrels. place your villagers before the barrels and set them to the job you want. trade with them once and they will be locked forever

I don't think you should stop "talking" on the build videos. It's nice to hear some positive thoughts while seeing you build, feels like a nice conversation, and just gives a good, cozy feeling!
I think that part of the reason your building videos are so special is because of the talk. You already set yourself aside from most MC RUclipsrs with your cinematic-ness, but it's really the human aspect of you just talking to us while you build that make these videos so special. I think it'd be a mistake to separate building and talking videos.
I love the other players adapting your builds like the Painted Mountain sign and the food stand. Makes it feel lived in. Also so much of this video reminded me of how Bob Ross paints. Your talking about how you always have an idea going into these videos, but everything you make is spontaneous and also just the amount of “happy accidents” in this video. One of my favorites being that railway that went off to nowhere near the end that you made to be ruined and decommissioned. You even added a whole new building because of the simple happy accident of the railway not lining up quite right. You and Bob are very inspiring in this way. God bless you, Flow!

I don’t think that you should make a second channel. I really like the blend of content and when you start talking about stuff like that while you’re building, it makes your channel so unique, and fun to watch.

That harmonica playing was sick! Love the build. Never really building in the mesa or desert since I'm a spruce builder, but this definitely makes me wanna!
Also btw the reason of villagers being always fisherman I believe is because there is so many barrels, I have the same issue, since there is so many barrels the chance of them choosing the other blocks is rare, I usually combine the barrels with chests, or put villagers first.
would love the talking videos as a survival series where the gameplay is almost a secondary but you’re just enjoying the game and playing how you want. this has quickly become one of my favorite channels with unique content and inspirational talks and build. keep doing you ❤

I do enjoy the building videos and all that, but with the channel being mostly focused on the building aspect, I feel like it causes for much less "talks." They are honestly very helpful and insightful, which I'd like to see more of and I think a second channel dedicated to that would be a good way to do it.

43:42 Honestly, I prefer to build in survival. While creative gives you access to any block you need, survival gets you more involved in some way that I don't know how to explain. In creative, I just go too fast sometimes and I end up with something that isn't really as good compared to what I would have if I was in survival, where I could take my time and think of new ideas. Bigger projects, I'm fine doing in creative, because I still take enough time to do them to form new ideas, but even then, I prefer survival because it's more of a challenge and more of an accomplishment.

Idk if you'll see this or not flowstate but a tip I have for filling in your pool is to do it on layers. What I mean is to fill it in from the bottom and work your way up to the top instead of randomly placing water buckets at the top. Not only is it easier but it's also faster

With what you said about it being sci-fi in the cyberpunk sense, I believe a good way to describe what your looking for is like the favelas from Brazil, sort of improvised and lived in where if you need a new room you just build one on top of your Neighbour’s house.
Seeing how your creativity only increases over time as you get more inspired by the build is so satisfying to watch, and it definitely motivated me. Your hard work is paying off with your content creation and these new opportunities with your server, and i am here for it!!!
I found your channel because I thought your builds were cool and unique. I stayed because I love your self improvement bits. I don’t know any other channel that combined building with the soft relaxing self improvement bits like you do and I just feel like if you removed that from your videos it would feel like the thing that makes you different from the others would be gone. You can use carpets or rails to keep mobs out or villagers in a certain place might be handy

Fisherman have priority in terms of all the other professions, I think the only one that comes above it is the fletcher of cartographer. But you place so many barrels to where all if not most of the villagers become fisherman

There is an advanced building mod called axiom that allows you to have multiple hotbars and switch between them with one button switch, not quite sure if its compatible with your modpack but try it man. Sleep well flowbro o7
