I do think it was genius what Gordon did but what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul... what he did to Marco was just wrong.. but the program itself boiling point in 2000 was genius and innovative..
My thoughts exactly both the boiling point documentaries are him baiting pre socialmedia pop culture and then using the reaction to further his profile. If he had tried this 5-7 years later it would have back fired but he used it just as the right time.

How does Gordon have so much energy? He almost doesn't sleep, he's cooking and travelling all the time, and he was dealing with loans and court cases. WTF!
And a Dead father and Drug addict brother. I have nothing but respect for people that have that level of stamina and focus.
There are people naturally like this believe it or not. I only sleep every two days. Sometimes longer. Naturally. All my life I’ve been an insomniac. Finally in my young teens I stopped torturing myself with laying in bed hours and hours trying to sleep. I embraced it. Good thing too. I’ve been completely on my own since 16. No siblings. No one helped me. Ever. I helped myself. It’s why I respect Ramsay so much. I know what it’s like to really have nothing and no one, no one backing you, except the wall your back is against; and instead of crumbling under pressure and in the face of near insurmountable odds, rising to meet the challenge and not just survive, but succeed. Put myself through school and full time university, as a teen, while working three-yes three-jobs at the same time. And still graduated with honors. All made possible because I had the time, because I never sleep. It’s just how some people’s brains work. They don’t need sleep often, they rarely get tired, and their brains never turn off. And in both Ramsay’s and my case, we used all that energy to our advantages.

Boiling Point of '99 was a masterpiece, the direction was personal, Gordon was portrayed in a humanistic manner, with real joys and pains and real passion and ambition. The camera work was simple, the narrator was not implying any emotion most of the time, he was not acting in a way while speaking, he was direct and only said what was needed.
This Boiling Point does not hold up one bit to the former.
The direction is celebrity oriented where human details have been stripped away, the camera work is horrendous, the narrator constantly makes remarks beyond what is necessary. It is no longer about Gordon the human but about Gordon as a celebrity.
Quiet literally the thing he was spiting at around 1:20:00 in Monte Carlo, that plastic presentation.

The filming of MPW’s wedding in this piece is what caused the eventual disintegration of he and Gordon’s relationship, and the end of their long friendship. It’s rather unreal that it’s forever documented and lives immortal in this, and we can actually watch the exact moment, 21 years later, that was ultimately the catalyst for the end of their relationship. Find that to be very nostalgic, rather sad even. As well as seeing Marcus and Gordon’s prior close friendship here, knowing that it too is destined to disintegrate; destined to turn very sour, very bitter, and very angrily sad. Such a shame.

The reason is that in 1900 France there were only 3,000 cars. Michelin tire company brought out a guide in 1900 to promote the best hotels and restaurants in France to ultimately encourage travel which they hoped would increase the amount of tyre sales around the country.
The guide also included a manual on car maintenance tips etc.

@@zackcedrone5389 this sort of thing was pretty normal back then.
@@zackcedrone5389 cool or hit shows influence the way production and directing is done for following shows. Big Brother made it with the cheap reality show style and this production is obviously following the style
It does. I was born in 1998 - and I remember all the 2000s shows been done like that. I hated it then - hate it more even now. Thankfully most documentaries today are not that pathetic
About Gordon's brother, it hurts even more knowing how in 2017 he was arrested and put in jail for possessing Heroin in Indonesia. Which means all that rehab didn't work out.
Gordon paid for rehab 8/9 times and watched him shoot up too. There was an agreement he could have 1 last £10 bag before going to rehab. Also gordon would give him money for haircuts and he would instantly be trying to score
You mean 2007 not 2017
Stop spreading miss information
Marco looks like he's chilling in the shire
Looks good I would love to be there to
GR has been always very generous to the staffs who’s good & helpful to him , I didn’t know he open a restaurant for Marcus without asking for a dime
He didn't. He made him a partner in his restaurant.
Gordan is incredibly generous. Yes he did set up Margus with his own restaurant and never asked (or was offered) one single penny. Sadly Margus turned arpund and back stabbed him. Some thanks. And people wonder why Gordan has a tough exterior. He has been taken advantage of repeatedly by his so called friends
N M just looked him up. He’s only managed to get 1 Star, Gordon has a total of 16 or something. I think I know who won out in the end.
@@jamesdwyer6000 13 I checked it yesterday
Michelin stars can be given and be taken at any time so that's why Gordon emphasizes on consistency.
This isn’t just a documentary on Gordon it’s a look at the restaurant industry. It’s very good
Love the respect amongst the chefs for one another.
Gordon and his team know exactly how to use the media, not to mention his great food
Gordon's description of the girls in Monte Carlo was absolutely amazing.
Hahaha yeah it was hilarious
"Sometimes I think it's me over-exagerating, youknowthat?" That's got to be one of the funniest lines I've heard from him
Gordon Ramsay is brilliant. Such an admirable character, chef, business person. He's successful in every way. School's should teach students how to develop such skills in life.
This is incredible. Thanks for posting.
Sarge has the right attitude, thats why he is now successful himself.
1:09:57- lol you're not supposed to smile on you passport photo Gordon. Tut tut. such a rebel
I love how Marco dresses like a Mafia boss
Gordon might be rough in the kitchen, but not gonna lie i would wish to work under him, people like Ramsay are the best people you can learn from
1:17:09. I bet you that the owner of that yellow scooter saw this vid at some point and was like “those sons of b*thes...”. Lol.
Giving his starts back
Badass chef
"I'm not too sure about Putin" Gordon was ahead of his time here
