Trust your mouth is what you mean. Once something goes in the mouth you can tell if it has a foul taste and your body will immediately react to throw it out.

I had food poisoning before and had this exact situation. It would come out almost perfectly clear. Your body just passes everything and pretty much refuses to absorb anything you try and eat or drink. Bottom line was you have to nibble on some saltine crackers and try your hardest to keep fluids down. But afterwards, I felt seriously cleaned out… after a couple days of just clear liquid coming out of me. Lol
Food Poisoning is literally the worst .. I got it at wingstop one time, threw it all up the next day, pissed out my butt that whole night, ate dinner, threw all that up the next day, pissed out my butt that whole night, ate nothing but bananas and apples for like 2/3 days after that until I was comfortable eating real food again /:

I had food poisoning as a kid, ate undercooked chicken. The way he said sharp gas pain id say ground glass in my intestines. Drinking water and peeing out of a different spot constantly 100% accurate. If its textures off, smells funny, tastes off just ditch it, dont chance it.
If it's poultry or seafood, I don't risk it as they better be cooked through, especially true for fresh water seafood as they contain parasites that can lead to bile duct cancer, which is incurable and will lead to death. If it's eggs, as long as the whites are cooked though, I risk it as I like my yolks jammy. Then you've got raw veggies that contains toxins that can lead to vomiting or diarrhea such as potatoes and kidney beans. Then there's rhubarb leaves that contain oxalic acid, which is toxic and raw cassava contains cyanide.

My friend actually died from bile duct cancer and we didn't know anything about it so we had to do a lot of research. Basically, he ate a fish that wasn't properly prepared, it wasn't cooked thoroughly, and he ended dying from it within 6 months of getting it. I also had a coworker that got it and add soon as I realized what he got, I knew immediately as, like I said, my friend died from it. He ended dying as well, within 6 or so months of learning about it. If you're running fresh water fishes, make sure it's cooked thoroughly.

If you get sick because someone served you something PLEASE let a manager or SOMEONE know as that person who cooked the meal should be trained better or not be working in a kitchen AT ALL. Some people just cannot cook, I used to believe everyone could if they just follow instructions but this one guy I used to work with his food would always come out cold and not fully done it was just always bad. Told her to get to the room I’m dying. 😂😂. Took forever. She comes in mad. I was standing there shaking. Broke and ran to the toilet. She kept asking what I had taken. I’m so dramatic at this point. I’m crying. Rocking back and forth. The Va hospital is like 10 miles away. Told her to get me there. A got a garbage can in my hand throwing up as we runs through the casino. Make it to the car. I’m looking like I was in a fight with Mike Tyson in his prime. Sweat dripping. I’m crying. Cramps. Clinching my butt. She running red lights one after another. Make it to the Va. I falls out the car. They get me up in the wheel chair. I started throwing up blood. The nurse said this alcohol poison. My lady says he doesn’t drink. I’m grabbing the nurse begging her to not let me die. They get me in the back. I jumped off the bed. Ran to the bathroom. They finally calmed me down. Gave me a IV. Morphine and some fluids. I wakes up. The doctor says what you have is food poisoning (salmonella). It would have to run its course. I was in pain for over a week. Bathroom after bathroom. I lost 12 pounds. I said never again. Me and her broke up two months after that. She said it was to much for her I couldn’t handle a little food poisoning. I told her she had no idea what I went through internally. She said blah blah blah grow up. I heard she had food poisoning a month ago. I texted her eat lite drink a lot of fluids. She responded with go 🤬 yourself 😂😂😂
I was about 12 years old when i had chinese food the day before. Woke up the next day feeling nauseus but i refused to throw up because i was afraid my dad would be mad. Headed to a birthday party, in the car there was a Macys bag (thank god😂) that i grabbed and proceeded to unload the previous days lunch almost as complete as it was before. You could tell i had rice, chow mein and orange chicken 😂😂😂. I held that warm bag in my hand , and then THAT made me throw up again😂😂😂.

I don't know where tf I got this from but, a couple years back I caught a stomach virus. Whatever it was, it was fucking POTENT. I went to bed feeling sick. Come 2 in the morning and I threw up so much. For the next 7 hours, it felt like I was living in hell. I couldn't even drink water. I'd drink it and throw it up within a minute. I still dub that event as one of the worst nights of my life.

When I moved to Texas 12 years ago I ate at this Mexican restaurant in Houston with flies flying near the windows next to where I sat. The salsa verde that came with the chips basket seemed way spicier than it should be and had this weird acidic taste. I ordered a lengua burrito that was topped with American cheese slices lol. It also had an unusual taste to it. The next 3 days felt like 10 years

December 1st, 2019. You know it was tragic when you remember the exact day and year lol. I ate a meat lovers digiorno pizza after cooking it in the oven 5 minutes after the recommended time (for extra crispy crust). Ate half and saved the other half for the next day. Went to bed around 10:30 that night, woke up later at 4:30am feeling extremely nauseous and at that point I knew what was going on, went straight to the bathroom and I kid you not it was like a volcanic eruption coming out of my mouth the first three trips to the bathroom. After the third time I just laid on my bathroom floor rug feeling extremely weak and dehydrated (yes I drank plenty of water and Gatorade but as you’d expect it just came right back up lol). After the 4th or 5th time it was just straight stomach acid at that point and it finally ended after the 8th time. I used mouthwash after ever trip to avoid tooth decay from the acid but by the end of it I had to get a second bottle haha. After all was said and done I grabbed the second half from the fridge to inspect it and sure enough the sausage had a grayish color to it but I was too tired and hungry to even look at it closely the previous night. It also didn’t have a funny spoiled taste to it either but at the end of the day it was a valuable lesson learned
I got food poisoning from an ice cream place that begins with letter D. Had their chicken basket and ice cream cone. Got a type of salmonella poisoning. Was sick for 2 weeks. The health department was involved. Said could have been from them, not cleaning ice cream machines. Will never eat a soft serve ice cream cone again. 😮

Same thing happened to me one time in Orlando, I had just eaten at Bahamas breeze the night before and knew the food was off, woke up the next morning to go to Islands Of Adventure, and right before entering the main gate, I had to make a sharp right turn into the restroom. I picked up a "What-A-Burger" hamburger at a North Austin, Texas location drive-thru shortly after midnight in December of last year. I ordered it with Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, Cheese, and Lettuce. After arriving home, I opened the paper bag, grabbed and ate a couple of fries. Then I took a big bite out of the hamburger, and I immediately spit it out. The mayo had spoiled and I spent the next three days in the "Blankety-Blank" (I will let you fill in the blanks). After that experience, I will never eat at "What-A-Burger" again.
Whenever anything tastes off to me I will not eat it. My friends and family get so embarrassed by it but I’m not about to get sick over something that is clearly not what it’s supposed to be😂

Ended up having a diarrhea and fever for the entire next week while taking some strong antibiotics and probiotics.

I had an experience a few years ago. I actually had to leave work sick and go to the hospital all in the same day. The day before i had went to this new buffet restaurant i had never been to before with my partner at the time. It gave me food poisoning overnight. I woke up, went to work, and not even a hour into my shift i start feeling really bad. Not sure if it was the chicken ot seafood, but thought i was actually going to die. They treated me and i vomited and got better before the next day. My advice to everyone is avoid sketchy random restaurants 😂

Unfortunately I have had food poisoning multiple times. There were 3 times as a kid where it was particularly bad. Those three times actually did not come from restaurant food. It was a result of stuff that I just ate from home. One time I was in second grade and I was eating a blueberry muffin that my mom packed in my lunch. I noticed that it tasted a little stale, but being a kid, I ate it anyway. Maybe an hour later I threw up from it. I did even make it into the bathroom 🤮😵💫
As a chef I actually food poisoned myself just to experience how bad it is. Because then I would know to make sure all the products I cook are up to temp. I never wish it upon anyone make sure as a home cook or Resturant have a thermometer ❤
Never had food poisoning but that reminds me of when I had a kidney stones some years back. That shit was probably some of the most unbearable pain I’ve ever experienced. I rolled around every inch of my floor in pain for like 2 hours until I just couldn’t take it anymore and called the ambulance because I was in too much pain to drive.

A Big Mac from McDonald’s had me hospitalized within 3 days for nearly a week. I didn’t eat there again for 5 years and I never ate at that location again. I was in my early 20s too. If it had happened now I’d probably have died. I was going to the bathroom and nothing but blood was coming out. My potassium dropped so low my arms started drawing up and I couldn’t lift my leg high enough to get in the tub. I couldn’t wash my hair. Nothing. I was out of breath walking between rooms in the house. I finally gave up and just said, I should probably go to the hospital now. lol
When I had food poisoning from Jack In The Box spicy chicken sandwich I had the runs so often, so bad and so HOT that I had to go to Urgent Care and get prescription strength numbing cream for well... you could probably guess where - I'd never wish that kind of pain on anyone.

Yup I had something like that one time where I spent a total of six hours going to the toilet and vomitting every 5 minutes. It strained all my back and neck muscles that I couldn't bend down or turn my head for 24 hours.
Okay story time.
It was July 7 2019 Biloxi Ms. Golden Nugget casino. I was at the blackjack table for about two hours. Down $3,700. Stop at one of the vendors shop. Didn’t feel like going to a restaurant. My date left me. So I grabbed a ham and cheese. A bag of lays potato chips. Bottle of water. My brother called fussing about unnecessary stuff. I took to bites. Hangs up with him. Gaze over the gulf. Laid down thinking about that $3700. Woke up two hours later. Running to the bathroom. It’s coming out both ends. I called my lady friend. Told her to get to the room I’m dying. 😂😂. Took forever. She comes in mad. I was standing there shaking. Broke and ran to the toilet. She kept asking what I had taken. I’m so dramatic at this point. I’m crying. Rocking back and forth. The Va hospital is like 10 miles away. Told her to get me there. A got a garbage can in my hand throwing up as we runs through the casino. Make it to the car. I’m looking like I was in a fight with Mike Tyson in his prime. Sweat dripping. I’m crying. Cramps. Clinching my butt. She running red lights one after another. Make it to the Va. I falls out the car. They get me up in the wheel chair. I started throwing up blood. The nurse said this alcohol poison. My lady says he doesn’t drink. I’m grabbing the nurse begging her to not let me die. They get me in the back. I jumped off the bed. Ran to the bathroom. They finally calmed me down. Gave me a IV. Morphine and some fluids. I wakes up. The doctor says what you have is food poisoning (salmonella). It would have to run its course. I was in pain for over a week. Bathroom after bathroom. I lost 12 pounds. I said never again. Me and her broke up two months after that. She said it was to much for her I couldn’t handle a little food poisoning. I told her she had no idea what I went through internally. She said blah blah blah grow up. I heard she had food poisoning a month ago. I texted her eat lite drink a lot of fluids. She responded with go 🤬 yourself 😂😂😂
I was about 12 years old when i had chinese food the day before. Woke up the next day feeling nauseus but i refused to throw up because i was afraid my dad would be mad. Headed to a birthday party, in the car there was a Macys bag (thank god😂) that i grabbed and proceeded to unload the previous days lunch almost as complete as it was before. You could tell i had rice, chow mein and orange chicken 😂😂😂. I held that warm bag in my hand , and then THAT made me throw up again😂😂😂.

Salmon vanilla does suck. When I got it it was way different, legit just felt like a normal cold but I still had it a month later so I went in and got blood drawn and they were like “yeah uhhh why’d you wait so long” 😂

I’m got salmonella from McDonald’s last year na haven’t been back since it scarred me for life. Was having nonstop diarrhea for 7 hours straight and it took like 2 weeks for my appetite and gut health to restore after
I don't know where tf I got this from but, a couple years back I caught a stomach virus. Whatever it was, it was fucking POTENT. I went to bed feeling sick. Come 2 in the morning and I threw up so much. For the next 7 hours, it felt like I was living in hell. I couldn't even drink water. I'd drink it and throw it up within a minute. I still dub that event as one of the worst nights of my life.
I had those pains for 3 years, i kept telling my specialist that it felt like i was being poisoned and they thought i was crazy. Turns out they had me on a medication i was allergic to for 3 years... 3 years!

Little Cesar's... Idk what tf happened but i had 6 slices of the pepperoni. The second i felt it i fkn knew.... i knew i had to get mentally prepared because i knew damn well what was coming, i never had food poisoning before this, but i just knew this was going to be a long night. I was on my back staring into the ceiling for 8 hours before i could feel comfortable enough to lay on my side. Took like 4 days for me to recover.
When I moved to Texas 12 years ago I ate at this Mexican restaurant in Houston with flies flying near the windows next to where I sat. The salsa verde that came with the chips basket seemed way spicier than it should be and had this weird acidic taste. I ordered a lengua burrito that was topped with American cheese slices lol. It also had an unusual taste to it. The next 3 days felt like 10 years

December 1st, 2019. You know it was tragic when you remember the exact day and year lol. I ate a meat lovers digiorno pizza after cooking it in the oven 5 minutes after the recommended time (for extra crispy crust). Ate half and saved the other half for the next day. Went to bed around 10:30 that night, woke up later at 4:30am feeling extremely nauseous and at that point I knew what was going on, went straight to the bathroom and I kid you not it was like a volcanic eruption coming out of my mouth the first three trips to the bathroom. After the third time I just laid on my bathroom floor rug feeling extremely weak and dehydrated (yes I drank plenty of water and Gatorade but as you’d expect it just came right back up lol). After the 4th or 5th time it was just straight stomach acid at that point and it finally ended after the 8th time. I used mouthwash after ever trip to avoid tooth decay from the acid but by the end of it I had to get a second bottle haha. After all was said and done I grabbed the second half from the fridge to inspect it and sure enough the sausage had a grayish color to it but I was too tired and hungry to even look at it closely the previous night. It also didn’t have a funny spoiled taste to it either but at the end of the day it was a valuable lesson learned
I got food poisoning from an ice cream place that begins with letter D. Had their chicken basket and ice cream cone. Got a type of salmonella poisoning. Was sick for 2 weeks. The health department was involved. Said could have been from them, not cleaning ice cream machines. Will never eat a soft serve ice cream cone again. 😮
Had it twice in my life, both times were bad but the second one was by far worse and I genuinely thought I was going to die. Had a fever throughout the night and basically slept on the shower floor in fear of not making it to the bathroom in time. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

Same thing happened to me one time in Orlando, I had just eaten at Bahamas breeze the night before and knew the food was off, woke up the next morning to go to Islands Of Adventure, and right before entering the main gate, I had to make a sharp right turn into the restroom. Only way I felt better that day was throwing up at 3:00 AM

I picked up a "What-A-Burger" hamburger at a North Austin, Texas location drive-thru shortly after midnight in December of last year. I ordered it with Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, Cheese, and Lettuce. After arriving home, I opened the paper bag, grabbed and ate a couple of fries. Then I took a big bite out of the hamburger, and I immediately spit it out. The mayo had spoiled and I spent the next three days in the "Blankety-Blank" (I will let you fill in the blanks). After that experience, I will never eat at "What-A-Burger" again.
Whenever anything tastes off to me I will not eat it. My friends and family get so embarrassed by it but I’m not about to get sick over something that is clearly not what it’s supposed to be😂

Had salmonella a few years ago worst pain and few days of my life. Apparently it normally will last less than a day if you throw up but I never threw up so it had to go through my entire system and took 3 days of excruciating stomach pains, constant diarrhea, and gagging. Literally spent most of the time laying on the bathroom floor.

I got food poisoning, from a rally’s chicken sandwich. Same exact story. I bit the sandwich didn’t taste right. Woke up later, shivering cold, body aching. Constantly throwing up. Bad diarhea. Felt like shit for about 8-10 hours.
I had a burger at a local fast food joint couple of years ago, it didn't taste anything out of the ordinary, in fact, it was great. However, after I ate it I had some weird feeling in my stomach, like I wasn't digesting it. The next day, I had a high fever and the day after I was throwing up like crazy. Ended up having a diarrhea and fever for the entire next week while taking some strong antibiotics and probiotics.
I had food poisoning back in elementary school. The tortilla was probably molded and I legit vomited outside of school building and immediately had to get to the nurse's room before I got back home 💀
Got Salmonella after eating Red Rooster in Australia 2.5 weeks out from getting married. Next morning had to go to college for an exam which I somehow got through. Two hospital visits. Shitting my brains out for 2 weeks. Constant fevers and headaches. Lost 8kgs (approx 16lbs). Ok for the wedding, bride was stoked! 😂

I believe I got some kind of food poisoning from KFC. It lasted about four days. I remember that as soon as I laid down on my back, I’d get a sea-sickness kinda feeling so I just laid on my floor and hoped for the best.

I had an experience a few years ago. I actually had to leave work sick and go to the hospital all in the same day. The day before i had went to this new buffet restaurant i had never been to before with my partner at the time. It gave me food poisoning overnight. I woke up, went to work, and not even a hour into my shift i start feeling really bad. Not sure if it was the chicken ot seafood, but thought i was actually going to die. They treated me and i vomited and got better before the next day. My advice to everyone

Some Mexican restaurant in Delaware. Ordered steak fajitas. The beef had a different flavor. Then just ate the veggies. 5hrs later was stuck to the toilet for the next several hours. Shower/toilet/shower/toilet/shower/toilet for hours.

Unfortunately I have had food poisoning multiple times. There were 3 times as a kid where it was particularly bad. Those three times actually did not come from restaurant food. It was a result of stuff that I just ate from home. One time I was in second grade and I was eating a blueberry muffin that my mom packed in my lunch. I noticed that it tasted a little stale, but being a kid, I ate it anyway. Maybe an hour later I threw up from it. I did even make it into the bathroom 🤮😵💫

Never had food poisoning but that reminds me of when I had a kidney stones some years back. That shit was probably some of the most unbearable pain I’ve ever experienced. I rolled around every inch of my floor in pain for like 2 hours until I just couldn’t take it anymore and called the ambulance because I was in too much pain to drive.
I had a kidney stone last year as well. The worst pain ever. Ended up having surgery to remove it.

@@seanm935 Correct. Another way, eating too many foods with oxalates as well. Foods such as Chocolate, Nuts, Sweet Potatoes, and Spinach. They'll pile up over time and cause them. So I've cut back on those types of foods.

A Big Mac from McDonald’s had me hospitalized within 3 days for nearly a week. I didn’t eat there again for 5 years and I never ate at that location again. I was in my early 20s too. If it had happened now I’d probably have died. I was going to the bathroom and nothing but blood was coming out. My potassium dropped so low my arms started drawing up and I couldn’t lift my leg high enough to get in the tub. I couldn’t wash my hair. Nothing. I was out of breath walking between rooms in the house. I finally gave up and just said, I should probably go to the hospital now. lol

When I had food poisoning from Jack In The Box spicy chicken sandwich I had the runs so often, so bad and so HOT that I had to go to Urgent Care and get prescription strength numbing cream for well... you could probably guess where - I'd never wish that kind of pain on anyone.
