Thank you Chatufa for giving answers to one of the most saddening puzzles in the difficult Zim political environment. It is sad for Zbweans to fail to put pressure on this demonic dictatorship that has swindled the entire country, throwing it into poverty. Why is ZPF and it’s dogs of war fighting opposition? It is clear Munangagwa is simply shutting out NC bcs he knows NC is loved by Zbweans and he has beaten ZPF more than once, young as he is. Why can’t NC hold a rally? Munangagwa knows the venue wld be overflowing and he finds that embarrassing to him. Does the law allow Munangagwa to ban NC rallies? Zbweans will realize that this is not new. Munangagwa and the CIO helped ZPF do the same thing to Morgan Tsvangirai after Morgan beat Mugabe in 2008. Munangagwa himself confirmed on video that Tsvangirai won and Mugabe wanted to handover. Munangagwa said he told Mugabe not to handover. Instead they created a Prime Minister role so Mugabe remained president. Where did u ever see such? Changing rules after elections?
I saw how Tsvangirai was after that. I might not know what they did to him, but I swear they harmed him, the way they must have hurt Sikhala while he was in prison. They had done the same to Tsvangirai.
Why can’t ZPF do the needful - hold free and fair elections like other countries; stop looting and let Zbweans benefit frm the resources of the country. Why does ZPF act as if their party owns Zbwe?
At this stage, Zbweans shld realize that ZPF has done to NC & CCC what they did to Morgan Tsvangirai & MDC. Munangagwa handpicked Tshabangu and his role was to grab the CCC, make it an extension of ZPF. ED knew there’s nothing NC wld do bcs every gvt agency is made to work under ZPF - ZRP, Min of Justice, etc. That’s why Tshabangu cld do all that. This Tshabangu debacle means Munangagwa chose an opposition leader for himself. Then Tshabangu comes out bragging that he is ‘resolving’ things. We’re not fooled, this is not the first time Munangagwa has done this. Remember Mwonzora who was hired to destroy the MDC from within after the MDC & Tsvangirai proved to be way too strong for Mugabe and ZPF. It must be noted that Mugabe wanted to hand over to Tsvangirai and it was Munangagwa and the CIO who told him not to handover. I believe Mugabe must have regretted after the coup. I even heard him regret two other things when he was interviewed by an international journalist - (i) he regretted gukurahundi and (ii) $15 billion Chiadzwa diamonds scandal.
The destruction of the CCC was chapter 3 of ZPF’s agenda of crashing a strong opposition. I’ve heard ppl complain that opposition is weak - opposition has beaten ZPF at elections for many years, 2008 Mugabe lost to Tsvangirai and Thabo Mbeki had to come try quell things when ZPF went on a wave of violence. Yet today they talk of ppl not being allowed to demonstrate. If opposition is weak, why is Nelson Chamisa being banned frm having his rallies? That means only ZPF can hold rallies. That is effectively a one party state.
Mwonzora was chapter 2. I must say he wasn’t as egotistic as Tshabangu. Mwonzora loved whatever he was spoiled with by Munangagwa and he went on to do his MDC destruction quietly. Tshabangu things he’s a king - he thinks he’s the man frm Matabeleland who managed to forge a relationship with Munangagwa. The thug doesn’t give a heck - he’s so happy to be wiping Munangagwa’s dirty butt.
Those of us who had their eyes open before independence cannot be fooled by the ZPF propaganda machine that lies about everything every single day. The first chapter of ZPF crashing opposition was the way ZPF turned against ZAPU, used tribalism as their tool, their Tshabangu of the moment. Zbweans were taken for a ride and they fell for it. Once Mugabe bellowed about reigning - ppl ululated, sand & danced all over the show. They mistreated ZIPRA, that was a plan that they had bcs they wanted absolute power - a dictatorshp. They had made plans for the 5th brigade being trained in N Korea. Just like they had made plans that NC will be without a party after 2023 elections. What ZPF supporters forget is that if they allowed their gvmt to ill-treat ppl bcs they are Ndebele, when they’re done with the Ndebele’s the next target will be amongst themselves. Just as Mugabe failed to realize that if he allowed Munangagwa, the 5th brigade and CIOs to harass and mistreat Joshua Nkomo, Dumiso Dabengwa, Lookout Masuku, when they were done with those targeted ppl, they wld move on to harass their own among ZPF.NWhat happened to Joyce Mujuru, was she Ndebele, what happened to Solomon Mujuru - was he Ndebele? What about Mugabe - had he suddenly become Ndebele? ZPF supporters & Zbweans in general shld insist on peace, good handling of the country’s resources so that everyone has a good life. As you now know, Munangagwa will not stop at anything.

Noam Chomsky once said, “If you're really in favour of free speech, then you're in favour of freedom of speech for precisely for views you despise. Otherwise, you're not in favour of free speech.” The point in the main is that we can not be in favour of FREE SPEECH only for views we like. What Hopewell said may have offended many people, but that’s the essence of democracy. I believe if we’re to make any headway as a country people must be allowed to discuss openly regardless of who might take offence. It has become routine from both sides of the political spectrum that critics of leaders are often castigated. This is dangerous. I believe Hopewell’s view represents a segment of Chamisa’s supporters. Are we to label them sellouts too.
