@@fromthemakersof5529I think you have a point when you say ‘No Frame, no Quo’. Every band has to have a leader to get it through the thick and thin. Sometimes it falls upon someone. Other times a person claims the position, but someone has to be captain, or the band would have faded away due to lack of direction, substance abuse or whatever. You heard Rick say he couldn’t remember all the stuff. The downside is the band goes in whatever direction the ‘captain’ want to take it. Remember Paul in the Beatles. Nobody really cared except Paul. I’m not saying I particularly like the direction Francis took the group either, but if he wasn’t in charge where would Quo be?

I have always really liked Rick, a very genuine and sincere bloke...Rossi not so much, but he's ok.... I did hear from someone within that circle, that, back in the seventies, the two of em could be pretty cocky and flash when they were together....to be fair they were young and massive stars back then, full of confidence.
Maybe Alan was pushed out a little?....or maybe he was the same, I dont know, but I remember reading around the time of the split that he was bullied out, its something we'll never know, Ricks comments were heartfelt I think, he genuinely didnt like the ill feeling, and thought a lot of Alan.
Its just what goes on in bands I guess, RIP Rick and Alan...two lovely blokes.

Rossi was the narcissist and egotist, greedy too, he thought he was Quo and everyone else was secondary and replaceable.
There’s always one of these assholes wherever you go in life, they cause heartbreak and anger and destruction around their gigantic egos and ambitions and it’s always at the expense of kindhearted genuine people.
What a shame Rossi is like that, I wonder what people like him think about in the quiet moments, does the greed, the money, the fame, the control and position actually mean anything good?
Screwing your friends over for money and position is a low act and speaks volumes about Rossi and his values, such a shame.
