You are spot on. I now only drop at airport. I no longer take rides out of airport
Thank you for bringing this topic up I picked up many customers from San Francisco Airport and they mentioned that there is no Uber in the airport and they said they've been paying surge price for there ride and no one accepting the ride and I told the customers that the Uber is paying the drivers very low that they don't want to accept your ride and there are 250 to 300 cars in the Lot right now
Boycott this company, they rip off the drivers 😮

In 6 years of driving ( 62k rides) i only went once to the uber wait area.( waited 45 minutes and dud not get a ride)

Lyft has already destroyed Airport Trips here in Boston! Airport Trips pay nothing from my area of Southeastern Massachusetts now, I used to get $55 to $75 or $80 Dollars back in the day from the Plymouth area, now there posting $23 to $28 maybe $30 Dollar trips, it's Sickening! I refuse to take them! Also $1.75 of this is Toll, but I consider it actually $3 dollars for Toll because I don't wait there anymore! Even Trips from downtown Boston now are like $7 or $8 dollars including toll; Forget about it , the Traffic is Ridiculous getting out of their anyway!

I decline all airport trip unless is a Primier trip only. I get around 180. Instead of 60.00
Indeed it is their latest attempt to steal wages, 7 of my friends who worked for Uber in the last years left Uber as a result of wage theft
They have been doing this in Atlanta, GA airport for a while. It sucks.....Also, they're using bots, so you don't get anything.
The queue is to frustrate their experience drivers who rejected bottom feeders prices and when they get to 1-5 in the queue Uber will send three garbage requests only to put them back at back of the queue coz they refused to accept 80s fare prices
They already doing it at Miami Airport. I was driving by the so called cue because there are too many uber drivers trying to get in. and I got one of them trip radar driving for 29 min for 8.93 no miles displayed. just how long it would take to drive.
Amazing so now you sit in the queue. But they’re sending you trip radar. So now I’m in two lines. Seriously.
Making a profit for a company shouldn't involve unethical practices or screwing over the vulnerable. Have they no shame?
It's more like, don't drivers have no shame???!! You are independent contractors, so act like it! Stop working at the airports. All drivers should log out until Surge prices are HIGH. Stay logged out every 30 minutes until Surges are good.
This is happening in Phoenix total disaster rider's a waiting forever because drivers aren't taking these bullshit rides
80% of the rides I accept are trip radar and my AR keeps dropping because trip radar doesn't count towards that. Sometimes the trip radar trips usually are pretty good distance, pay and time ratio, still have to cherry pick the crap out of it because so much trash on that! Those "exclusive" trips I constantly decline because pay is trash and they secretly fleecing the rider. I've been noticing riders complaining about how expensive trips are like its my fault. I tell them I don't set the rates and show them how much I am getting paid and usually they are shocked. Airports I don't really want to do because they fleece the crap out of riders and give drivers the crumbs, no reason for Uber to be taking 55-65% cut when I am doing all the work in MY car. All airport trips I do are for private riders and I get better quality riders and I get 100% of the fare!
