Great video. We.did the drive up to.Alaska last year. I am.63 years old and well traveled. The Alaska trip was by far.the best. AMAZING scenery!!!!!!! Magical!!!
New NASCAR fan from NZ, been watching every xfinity and cup race this season, got pulled into it after watching full speed and knowing SVG will be racing. Love the sport, love these podcasts but I also stumbled across this pod and Dennys after watching race breakdowns after races to try and learn more about the sport. Since then I've been going back and watching older races, love it all and cant wait to come over to see one live
I'm a fan from England. I saw a race on TV late at night in 2007 and have been hooked since. Great racing series and the great personalities involved make it what it is
no ross interview? I know DirtyMo must have been disappointed, and I in no way hold it against them. I am such a huge fan of Jr and Ross that I can’t wait to hear them talk for an extended period!
Another Aussie follower🇦🇺.. I used to follow it during school holidays as a kid since nascar was always on Sunday and Monday mornings on espn here.. fast forward to a few years ago during covid when nascar came back before other sports, I got back into it… iam so love it now, listen to all the podcasts and watch all the races and plan on getting to Daytona in 2025 or 2026. I can remember the day you won Daytona after the really long rain delay. That ended up being like a 2-3pm finish in my time of day.
Dale and Amy, On the AK road trip. There used to be a publication that came out yearly that was called Milepost. It's step by step guide to Alcan highway and a must have for traveling on the road. I hope it's still out there bc it has all the info you'll need to make the trip. I did it twice in the winter months, up and back from being stationed at Ft Richardson while in army. Loved the trip both times even in winter. The road was well maintained and a great road trip adventure for the family. Highly suggest you push it to the top of your bucket list! Great content as always, surprised that Ross wasn't there. KT
Gotta say, JR is getting better at the ad reads, I wouldn't mind seeing him as a broadcast lead next year in the summer - he's definitely more comfy doing it.
Amy is an absolute saint for sitting through all this race car stuff, sure she hears plenty at home. Make a special "Amy Says" podcast, she is a super asset to any Dale podcast.
Dale, I applaud you for choosing to celebrate your birthday with your family. That is so wonderful. My birthday is later this week. I have a really good friend whose birthday is 3 days after mine.
You guys just answered the question. 30 years ago drivers respected each other because most of them worked on their own stuff and made their living off racing so they didn’t want to be tore up to have to repair stuff so there was a lot of give and take and respect. These days the drivers are mostly spoon fed rich kids that come from money and have bought their way into the sport rather than earned it and don’t respect each other or for the most part anybody and it will continue unfortunately to be this way in the future so you have to know that going into each race and race accordingly. I own and race my own race car so I speak from experience not just as a fan.
Yep some guys are spoon fed spoiled drivers. But briscoe is not he worked his ass off with no money at all. So that's not the reason things changed mostly it's playoffs also these kids come and go fast all you got is your performance. And even in older days it was individually who gave. I've scene dale sr not give a inch at times to anyone. It's RACING
Do I hear people asking for a JUDGEMENT call on the damaged vehicle policy? Yes, all sports including NASCAR need judgement calls. "Look, Berry isn't damaged and just needs tires or he just has minor damage, he's good to go." Use judgement.
Great show. If I remember correctly, Mark had his seat right up to the steering, as opposed to Jr sitting far back. Does anyone else recall that? Martin being close to the wheel?
How about having a Tire Pros van & tire crew respond to any car with just flat tires at the race track(s) ??? Thar way the car(s) can make it back to their pits to change the tires & damage without going to the garage.
I have readers in my contacts. I'm a nurse and over 60. Makes looking at prescription bottles for patients much easier. It took a couple days to get used to pouring them in. Can't go without them now
9:52 dempster highway? It goes through Yukon Territory up to the arctic circle. As a Jeep guy it seems like an awesome trip from what I’ve seen on RUclips
I agree with Dale and Amy that the responsibility was on Kyle to pass lapped traffic cleanly. I would not have done anything different if I was Kyle, but I also would never be so entitled as to expect another competitor to pull over for me.
Have driven a Truck home from Alberta to Southern Ontario, you can easily cross over from New York or Michigan then just go to town, would be worth it!
Junior what a blessing to be Ralphs grandson and Seniors Son. But to be Amys husband thats just to much! Please have her on more....and i love the show....
My parents did the RV Alaska road trip. Might be something worth considering, maybe rent an RV and take the trip. It starts in Idaho and run as a convoy up through the Canadian Rockies and into Yukon and Alaska.
Rule should be based on amount of damage to car. What happened to the Jacksl they were going to install to raise the car to make towing car with flats easier?
Not gonna lie I absolutely couldn’t stand KB but now that he’s with RCR and is running the #8 car I’m kinda a fan of him now. He’s definitely changed a lot!!!
@@Commentleaver-c6x no but if your family has money it makes it a lot easier to go and take a job in racing that pays lower than real world jobs with the same education. I get paid much more as a manufacturing quality engineer than I ever would have had I stayed in racing.

Im gonna a Take Credit for Dale Playing DraftyCar lol Last video when they were talking about NASCAR Manager I commented that Dale should try DraftyCar 😂😂
hey dale very easy to put eyedrops in your eyes just put a drop in the corner of your eye then just roll your head with eye open left for left eye right for right eye very simple you can do it as your driving
It should be across the board rule. One or the other: if you cannot drive back to the pits for ANY REASON under your own power, then you are done, or you get drug to your pits bo matter what, and you get the time to fix it in the time allowed regardless.
The good news: Miss Amy is a bright shining light whose beautiful personality and looks add tremendously to the show. She is just sweet and seems a lovely person. The bad news is that awful gambling segment needs to go and be spun off into its own standalone video so we aren’t forced to watch it.
With the single lug nut maybe they should have 4 skinny tires/wheels on the tow truck just to use for getting the car back to the pits? It takes seconds to swap a tire even on the side of a track ? Time wise it would be faster then trying to tow it dragging the ground, But That probably makes too much sense for nascar to use an easy solution
The answer is easy on the dvp... offer the teams a choice b4 being towed either the pits or garage.. if you choose garage your day is over if you choose pits then they tow you back to the pits and then you go onto the 5 minute clock.. there is no way to exploit this and it's really simple so of course they won't consider it.
The playoffs should be 12 cars only & race for how many races are in the playoffs & whoever is in front with points wins the championship. Also in the playoffs no stage cautions just race the whole races & let the teams strategies play out. You can still give stage points at certain laps but do not stop the race it really disrupts the drivers & teams strategies..
This show was hard to watch. Dale during into an old head with some of his opinions. And the staff change for this year has not panned out. I try to listen every week out of respect but man, it’s just getting to be a harder watch.
The DVP needs to go. However, they should have a rule that, if the car is involved in a crash, the car has to be fixed on pit road, no non-important body parts can be added, only removed and then tape up what you can. Then If you go to the garage after that then you’re out. No more timer and other silly rules.
It was fine the way it was before. Let them go the the garage and fix the damn car. If there's no timer on pit road, then the pit boxes on either side of the damaged car are now being affected by the damaged car being in the way of their pit entry/exit.
Congratulations, Ross, for extending your streak to 3 years with a Win!! Great driving, keep stacking them up!
