This looks s serious situation when politicians won’t listen to the concerns and issues within the Black community. I especially find it disrespectful that the officials that are supposed to be HEARING THESE CONCERNS IS DELIBERATELY OVERTALKING THE CITIZEN THAT IS SPEAKING UP FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD
So, what he is saying is that the group you’re representing, you can’t acknowledge them or ask them to stand while you speak or attempt to prove your point? I also didn’t know you couldn’t ask a certain person a question whose on the panel and representing your city. I guest only the Mayor is allowed to speak at these meetings. I didn’t hear her ask her group to approach the podium to speak,she just wanted them to stand to their feet while she spoke. Ok, what was her point? Oh, she didn’t get the opportunity to address it because she was hauled off by the police! I think you should have atleast allowed her to present her point to the board to see where she was going with it so you could have had a valid reason to correct her, instead of cutting her off before she could make her point. From what I watched, that’s what you did for the others, and I didn’t see where any of the ones who had the same aggression as her removed from the meeting… I would have gotten a little frustrated as well. It seems she wasn’t forwarded the same rights as the others. #myopinion
Yes in deed, this same mayor I remember when I was in labor 11 years ago in the hospital talking about how many kids I have. He seems to have a grudge against me because I always stood up for the right of the people in the city. I have degrees and he doesn’t maybe that’s why he feels threatened by me and I notice he feels threatened by Dan also. He used the police to violate my rights and he never follow the Robert’s Rule of Order. He makes up the rules as he goes along.
