Very good image quality and not over-complicated, it has two easy automated settings, (IA) Inteligent Auto and (IA+) Inteligent Auto Plus, wich lets you also have control over white balance, background focus and other things, I also love the filters! Very creative and I adore the 'Miniature' Effect!!
Yes, my GF3 arrived few days ago. First impression is very good. Perfect size and weight, very good LCD display, user friendly functions and much, much better image quality in comparison to my Olympus E-PL1. Another feature which surprised me is Auto Focus - it is almost instantaneous. I'm very happy with this camera.
Good, small unobtrusive camera with the internal flash and nice touch screen. 90% of it's users wouldn't care about lack of hot shoe. For full year I didn't use an external flash or mic on my Olympus E-PL1 and sold the flash on eBay. Now GF3 seems to be the best small m43 camera on the market and I ordered one today.
Bought one on a whim rather than buy another 18-55mm kit lens for my DSLR, paid £80-00 for mine, used but not a mark on it, and frankly it is 95% amazing, impressive in low light, fantastic to carry around, only minus things for me is can be a bit hard to handle so use a neck strap, not keen on touch screens but use scroll wheel anyway. 9.5 /10 from me and would say to anyone worth getting one esp given the low price.
Surprisely, in 2023, the GF3 camera style is becoming more and more a feasible choice due to the increasing number of places where is not allowed the use of so-called "pro cameras" like dslr's (e.g. parks, museums etc). Not mentioning the lack of safety in the big cities... So, even owning a G9 and a GX85, I recently bought an old GF3 for Street Photography & Travel ocasions!!! See ya, blue skies 🤙🏻🍀📸
i honestly want to no if its great for video im in to video but dont want a DSLR or ever used one. i use a canon power shot for video and a canon vixia

Am I right in thinking that the wheel on the back can be used to cycle through f numbers now that the old click wheel has gone?
If you sell this camera online expect loads of returns saying the zoom doesn't work. LOL j/k ;D
