Hi Kev. Your lucky day finding that lever. WOW. What are the odds of that ? Interesting that some DTIs have a lever and some don't need one to reverse direction. Most Chinese ones are leverless. Cheers Rob

Not sure why some do or some don't but these Verdict ones are still made here in UK at £150 a pop it also has a Jewelled movement

Yes ok, eyes not up to it though for watches, i used to repair vintage clocks in a previous hobby.
As for the Ambrose Shardlow not sure, but i think i've heard Shardlow before🤔

@@julias-shed yes . i used to do vintage clock repairing as a previous hobby, but packed up because of ageing eyesight, if its on to watches i will need a micro scope.🤣🤣👍👍🚂🚂
@@MrFactotum I did a few courses with the BHI on clock repair which I enjoyed and fixed up a few cheap Smiths clocks but lost interest after I had to change nearly every pivot in a Westminster chiming clock 😳 probably ought to sell some of the lathes!
@@julias-shed Was it the BHI Headquarters in Southwell !, i nearly signed on there in a past life, but decided for the repairs i did i learnt on the job, even to the point of making my own pivot bushes. Thats when my eyes were 20-20🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@Steviegtr52 ok thanks, if its the plunger / lever sticking try cleaning it with some brake cleaner or lighter fuel, they don't like oil.
