Oh maybe I'm weird but I love watching videos of weather like thunderstorms nothing better and more relaxing like that! I sometimes also go and then I listen to music I like like delta parole or metallica while I watch and take it in!
Good training for those with low hours, or not much experience of crosswinds . During training it’s not always possible to find crosswinds close to the limits of the aircraft. Lot’s of pedal work going on there! Well done guys and gals.
Great video, well done. I spent some time at GLA on Monday afternoon, a bit later in the day and watched the EZY from BRS divert to EDI because of the 60 degree x-wind. We were gusting up to 47k at 3.30pm. These boys and girls earn their money on days like that!
I got similar take off from EDI last Monday, there was Quatars A350 right before me, started without any issues and mine 737 waving like a crazy. Hope tomorrow would be better :)
just great. First I saw today a video from Manchester, but I have friends near Bristol and I land frequently in Bristol and was wondering how it was today with this storm there, and here we are. Each single shot is great and thrilling and many little special situations we can see here. Top! Subscribed (the third aviation channel I subscribed this week, you all do so nice stuff). Cheers from Vienna.
Or, being well short of where a jet should be touching down. Must be a somewhat short runway, because almost all of them are touching down at or prior to the 1000’ markers
Jack Gribbin In a jet, typically you’re shooting for the touchdown aiming points which usually align with the glideslope. Ducking below is somewhat normal, but touching down 250-500 feet down the runway is somewhat unusual. Like I said, I think it must be a shortish runway, and in those conditions, being wet, they probably wanted to get it on as soon as possible.
@@Spyke-lz2hl yeah usually the main aiming point is the thick markers that are between a quarter and a third of the way down. Perhaps a wind induced sink rate caused the early touchdown
AviationUpclose Usually pilots of aircraft of this level will not allow an increased sink to affect where they actually touch down. There are approach additives calculated in to give the maneuvering margin to allow the pilot to use the extra energy to prevent a sink from affecting their path. The touchdown zone is marked by the triple hashed lines at 500 ft, then the solid boxes, or aiming points 1000 ft down, then another set of triple hashes 1500 ft, then double hashes, then single hashes ending at 3000 ft down the runway on a runway over a certain length (can’t remember) with a precision approach. Nice chatting with you, I’m sure I’ll see you again on another video. If there’s anything else you’d like to discuss let me know!! You may already know all this... 🤷♂️
Kudos for video recording in such trying conditions! Hoping you can incorporate wind screening equipment in the future to improve the audio quality of your great video captures. Thank you for a fantastic video!
Kai Murtagh Corect ! Will never fly with RyanAir , they treat their employees very bad , long hours , very low payment ! It was on TV ! I prefer Easy Jet , more decent airline!
Wow! Amazing footage of amazing piloting skills! Hats off to everyone!
Thankyou 😀

Clive Sinclair With crosswinds like this it’s typically only the Captain that is allowed to land, although this different from company to company
KLM: Too windy we are going around!!!
Ryanair: Hold my beer!!!
Ryanair pilots: Either we put this plane down or the storm does!
And either that, or we´ll get fired because of extra fuel costs :D
Tower: brr bee brre brruu bbbuurrb bee
Pilot: Roger

Leeroy Brown lol
Ryanair now charge a difficult landing fee

Ryanair: What's a go around?
Whooa.. that opening pan shot..... too fast yo.... making me go all crazy.....!

That Ryanair pilot deserves a price!!! OMG!!! Honestly.

Thankyou very much for your kind comment. 😀
Great video. Did you manage to get the Blue Islands ATR-42 landing? As I was flying it.
Hi, awesome stuff! If it isn't in the video I didn't catch it, this video includes everything I filmed:) Cheers.

Nice video 👍✈️well done pilots 👨✈️
Thankyou 😀
10:55 now that's called using every inch of the landing distance available 😂

Spyke0511 1 from what I could see they all landed past the zebra crossing looking lines which is what they should be doing

congrats to you at first for filming in these difficult weather conditions.the catches are breathtaking.
Thankyou very much! 😀

Thankyou, I will look into it! 😀
Very nice video , give you a like .
Also connected to your channel , can you turn the favor .

Superb Thank You
Thankyou 😀
Excellent footage thanks for sharing 👍
Thankyou 😀
Thanks for braving the weather to make this brilliant video!
No problem, thankyou!
Good show.
Pretty amazing there was only one go around!
trb10 That‘s not really amazing. It‘s always better and a lot safer to go around than to "just bring it down“ ...
Who could imAgine Diane Abbott as ATC🙏
Great stuff Archie! Liked!
Thankyou 😀
Not too bad, just a bit wobbly :)
My storm had come
I was on one of those Ryanair planes
The opening pan shot was too fast, so everything was ablurred mess. I've just subbed you -hadn't seen you before.
Yeah I apologise for that intro shot. Welcome onboard! 😀
I wish RyanAir would go to Las Vegas. The code is LAS the airport is McCarran. It is a medium sized airport.
Thomas Murphy I wish RyanAir will go bankrupt ! Cheap greedy tight Irish asses !
@@calinutza33 you get what you pay for...

07:00 that was faaaast
Nice footage but ....... bugger that !
Ryanair=Hard landing.
That’s how I remember it!
Is that Max 3:00?
No. 737-800
dnjoncvichy 738 not max
Max has higher angle winglet where as 73ng has almost 90 degree winglets. Also max have noticeably bigger engines.
lexsteph XD also, it’s not allowed to fly. 😂
Actually it is allowed to fly without passengers, for example if needed to move to factory or maintainance service etc.
Soon we'll start to see bright yellow planes with a bee in the tail and the large bold name Buzz on the planes
Well done everyone!
NUTS :)
Naming storms. How stupid have we become?
All in a days worki for those strong jawed moderate drinking heroes that are British pilots
and all other pilots regardless of their nationality.
Ryanair is Irish. KLM is Dutch.
@@cunamara01 What KLM Royal Dutch airlines is Dutch..and Ryanair with a big irish harp on the tail is Irish..?Who would have thought it..?
Nearly a bird strike at 13:49.
Not at all hahaha
