30 minutes of awesome plane spotting at a windy Bristol Airport. An action-packed video including wobbly arrivals including a nose-down approach, bumpy touchdowns, rocky takeoffs, windshear reports, reverse thrust spray, beautiful wingtip vortices and more! Amazing video I for one know the amount of time it takes to film and edit videos for uploading. Wishing you all the best for 2022 keep up the great work👍👏🥳
Hi there I’ve just subscribed to your channel and liked it too. Bristol is my local airport and I’ve flown from here a few times to Ireland and to Spain. I follow 3 You tubers already who do trip reports and plane spotting, and your footage is very good - am looking g forward to seeing more! X
I myself as a southwest airline pilot I usually do go around and if not I reduce and increase as a method I usually fly in Dallas Houston Nashville etc
5:22 Two tall antennae in the distance (parallel to left wingtip) - looks like the Police HQ centre just outside Portishead; with Severn estuary beyond?
The masts are at Clevedon and are currently used for various BBC radio broadcasts. The Police masts are much smaller and cannot be seen from this viewpoint.
@@alangardner6689 Thanks Alan - so Portishead off screen to the right? Are we still seeing Clevedon woods at 5:38 as UZHO turns, just before video goes to next landing approach? Asking because I can see landing lights from upstairs at home when arrivals approach from East 🙂
@@lindaj5492 you are absolutely right. My view is of the western approach lights but I can see aircraft approaching from the east until they almost touch down.

Thankyou very much, welcome to the channel. 😃
Great footage and superb quality, Anyone else notice that the painters might have slipped when masking the ‘g’ in Lufthansa Regional (engine 1 side)?
Thankyou very much! 😃 If I am looking at the right bit, it looks to me like one corner of a quadrant marker of some sort. Thanks for watching. 🙌
Amazing video! I’m the 100th like here! Subscribed! 👍😁😁

Thankyou Rob, I really appreciate it! 😆👍
@@Mraviationguy Question:
How do you hold the camera so still?
First, lots of practice, second, a little bit of stabilisation effects in the editing process. 😄
@@Mraviationguy fair enough, I'll take those notes into mind and apply them to my next video
Thank you
Wonderful!
Thanks man! Happy New Year. 😀
Great stuff. Live in Bristol and watch these on the flight path near the Severn
Thankyou! 😀 Great! 👌
I love that you don't zoom in on takeoff because when people do that it really ruin's the sense of speed and makes the planes look slow.
Glad you like that 😀 Thanks for watching! 👌
Done a Bristol this morning was pretty blustery worse when I work up the back 😭😭
Feels like it's never not blustery at BRS 🤣 Thanks for watching!
Wondering what the passengers thought about their nose-down approach?!
I don't know how these 737 with the engines slung so low to the tarmac don't have lots of FOD
Interesting how pretty much all of them flared quite a bit when landing except for the 319 (G-EZBJ) and the last one (G-EZDL).
Interesting observation 🧐 Thanks for watching! 👍😃
The last guy came in slower, and flared more gently. Sometimes they fly in faster in strong winds. Not sure if the flaps were set differently.
