- Lots of snow, needs to be gone! But can winter please wait till later November? Camera gear is always changing and on the farm you must come up with ways to handle the destructive environment.

Whats up with the tape on the magnet, are you keeping secrets.
Forgot to mention that, it is to help from scratching paint as the magnet sticks pretty tight!
@@WelkerFarms Probably easy to clean metal shavings off as well.
@@Daweirddudeorguy i sub to
LOL is it another Bob?
@@Daweirddudeorguy I also sub
The drone wanted to get *reaaally* close shots of the auger I guess
Lucky it didn't go in the truck. Would have never found it.
Love the video u guys are going to get more snow i was post to get it but a storm puss it your way
More headed your way this morning! Snowing here in northern Idaho
We got about 3" but then the colder air moved in. Mostly went south and then east. Thanks Kevin 😁👍
How do you already have snow? In denmark its just raining!?
Because we are just cool people ? 😁, Blessings 👍
what drone are you using??
Mav pro I think is what he's using.
Was the Drone okay Nick?
I think it broke a prop.
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob Like what if you don't remember that's ok
If you get a deeper snow this year, you should drive the combines in the snow to really show the differences in how the LSW 1400 tires float vs the duals!
Might have to build myself one of those handles, looks better than what I use. Thanks.
Ya’ll pushing snow around meanwhile I’m dealing with temps in the 90s and 100s, the difference in weather from northern US to southern US
we finally had a "cool front" come through ... it was nice to be out of the 90s for a little while.
Yeah, these crisp 89+ days of fall are soo much better than those 95+ days of summer, almost need a jacket haha, but the 70s in the mornings is better than it’s been
70 is the high 40s at night, we are getting down in temps in the midwest
Ghostrider2999 I am ready for 30s and 40s but the people down here act like it’s Antarctica when it’s like that, I miss my home state of Tennessee’s weather, but I love the big water we have here called the Gulf of Mexico
Farmers here are planting cool weather crops. Rarely freezes here in Sacramento
I was so excited waiting for it to snow in pa then I saw the sloppy mess you have and realized how much it’s gonna suck
You know Nick you wouldn't have gotten wet pushing snow if you would have kept the jcb teleskid lol just giving you a hard time
Harvesting snow cones on Welker Farms while they can.
Looks like leg arms knows how to push snow
Wisconsin: “What is snow?” Also Wisconsin: *looks at forecast* “Snow for Sunday”
Owen Scheider I live in Wisconsin and there no forecast for Sunday
Seems right
The trees still have plenty’s leaves, expect a harsh winter, the sun is still in minimum phase,
How much snow did you get? Moisture is moisture but makes a mess.
We got about 1 1/2 ft of snow. Half melted as it came down.
I love the GoPros for camera stuff but have always had a hard time finding a efficient way of mounting them to everything without carrying around a hole bunch of mounts so thank you for that will probably build something similar in the near future
Hope you getting moisture and the snow is worth while. In The Panhandle we got our first moisture since First of July. We got 2" on our North section to 6.5" on the south section. This will help fill our soil profile for next summer crops. We might have a climate change as Friday we are getting our first freeze, a week or two early. We have to harvest corn and cotton and plant winter wheat...so please wait until Christmas here.
As a farmer and Loctite salesman you did a couple things wrong. 1st you didn’t use actual LOCTITE brand product. Email me @ Marcus.kloepping@henkel.com and I will solve that. 2nd is on a blind hole application you want to put the LOCTITE into the blind hole versus on the male threads. The air in the blind hole will push the thread locker out of the threads as you tighten the thread and compress the air at the bottom of the blind hole. Love your go pro rig. I am going to copy it. Hope this latest blizzard didn’t get your power.
Enjoying the vids. I just got my snowblower working a few days ago, stupid ethanol gas. My sister's remark was "I guess you won't be getting any snow this year". Greetings from the east coast.
We are expecting our first snow tomorrow in Denver. News is saying 2-4 inches so where I am it's usually doubled. I honestly don't mind the snow, I just hate driving in it because there are a lot of people who move here that have no clue how to drive in snow. October isn't early for snow for us. We can get snow in August through June. It's just something you get used to.
That swivel part is called a gimble I believe. You should mass market them with your logo on them. You also might want to think about gluing felt on the bottom of It instead of tape. Less chance of leaving marks
Make a snow plow out of it. (Old skid steer bucket)
Video from GoPro8 are nice. Adaroma or B&H have it for pre order.
Nick your videos are always amazing
Get a high tip bucket/tipper bucket for your loader if you have aux hook ups on your loader anyway I promise you will not regret it
Love your videos but the lead times are gettin ridiculous the snow storm was what, 2 weeks ago? I've seen hints on what you are doing now on instagram and twitter, much rather see a video on those than a 2 week old snow video. Speed up the lead time, just saying.
i have all ways wanted to farm i would like to come and work for you i am 18 i live in DeKalb Alabama i was hopping you could help me out
You need to restore the little old truck that has Farm Vehicle on the door. That would make a great flag ship truck for your farm. Now one around would have one.
Great video but I noticed you are using the channel locks backwards just saying 👍
maby you should dig a trench where the water normaly runs. then put some concrete in the trench so it wont get bigger and put some grating on it so water can drain away from your property without flooding your yard area and still being able to drive over it with grating and covering the entire lenght with maby some solid concrete slabs covering the channel every now and then so the big machines can cross it without breaking it. i know it is unrealistic but it would help with the snow melting and creating a small river right through the property
You guys got snow before us up here in Michigan?? Pretty crazy weather though.
Thanks Nick.
One magnetic go pro holder on its way to the FP channel. 👍
I hope your drone makes a speedy recovery.
think about it.. they have snow, where millenial farmer still has to start harvest....
Yeah but it's a freak storm. These guys are actually much warmer in the winter then millennial is.
Can't believe the difference in such a short time from harvest to snow pushing! Thanks for the go - pro handle build nick, im still just using my mobile for dodgy vids 😂. Maybe this xmas santa might leave me a nice present!
I bet the kids and pups like that snow mounds we in Oklahoma hennessey never get snow hope that come:))
mz1drfl ,,they should pile up the snow by the playground equipment and make a sled/ski hill
Prob need to send this video to the millennial farmer
When I was a kid, the county couldn't get to our road, so my dad would go out on his Oliver 88, and our neighbor would get out his Deere 4320, and they would plow the roads and driveways. Thanks for the reminder!!
Your skid loader bucket does not have a blade on it. That will help you out.
I think a 994 K would work a lot better. Just an opinion.
What happened to global warming??
Climate trends are not snapshots. Global warming means the weather will get unpredictable. But the temps are trending upwards. Don’t believe I have to STILL explain that. FWIW the arctic will show it first and Greenland is melting
you should put a plow on the trucks
So popular, visitation by appointment only 😎😎😎
I love the wagner
For a video you should show us all your tool boxes and there contents
I always push all the gravel onto the lawn, bar pit etc. Keeps summer blades sharp! :-)
That's what I told my wife Karen. Boy those gravel are painful connecting to the face. 😁👍
It's not a microphone.....it's a dead cat! Bahahahaha
We are gonna have temps in the 30s windchill in the 20s in Chicago this week
with us in Germany (bavaria) it still has no snow on Saturday it should have 22 degrees with us .
Make with Googel translator !
sunny and 72f here 45 min north west of Toronto
Snow in oct.? NICE! :D
Awesome videos super high quality
Instead of going to the gym, get a big hammer and work out straightening the bucket.
B&H photo for all your video needs
No snow in ohio yet. But that can change any day
Love the videos It's 90゚ in Alabama where love yo in Alabama
Today's episode brought to you by loctite.
So Beautiful
What is the name of the theme song that keeps playing? Awesome vid as always!
Pls stream fs19 Welker map again
Maybe such monocultures are the reason for an early winter...! See your beginning of this film, a few trees in the middle, the rest is dead land !
We're part of the grasslands of the continental North American continent. Too dry for trees.
Robert Welker so you give your trees around your buildings water ? How much rain do you get every year ?
We water our pine trees, fruit trees and trees right in our back yard. The shelter belt trees catch blowing snow and are cultivated between the rows. We get about 9 inches of water per year.
Robert Welker thx for info, dry countryside
will be checking the links for your gopro setup for sure been looking for a solid rig i'm not easy on my gear always a great inspiration either how you produce the videos or how you get your shoots like how you described over the years how its done been a fan for a very long time keep up the great content.
Super cold there today! looks like 28 when I checked the weather on my phone for your area. I cannot stand the cold glad I live in the deep south. Today it's going to be 81.
What are you guys doing with all the old tractors/equipment because it is such a shame that it is left to rot away
Those old items are for display. Iron doesn't rust much at all here, as we don't have humidity and little rain.
You should take beastbine out in the snow
Enjoyed the video just subscribe to your channel can't wait for more videos and I have a lot of catching up on videos
Got that whipped out skid loader bucket you could have Legarms reengineer it to make a snow pusher. It would be easy and he would love the project. Hack off the front, add width with big sides and a rubber scraper.
I am in Canada and it’s still warm, The leaves haven’t even fallen yet.
Southern Alberta we have had a couple dumping of snow already
love the mod 4 cameras looks easy to make wicked thanks man,
Hey nick we are harvesting corn and soybeans and I will film it on my phone and will post it by the end of October it's supposed to snow on Friday so that cuts off our time on one of your next videos I will tell you if it's posted and you can come check it out. BTW nice video
Smart Farming
can you do a workshop tools tour?
Look for a David brown 1412
I love all you videos. Yup sitting here in Canada (EAST COAST) watching you plow snow and today its 19C here or about 70. wooohooo
Hollywood the drone stunt driver. Great video. Great tips on the handle. Yes it is toooooearly for winter!😫😣
How many big snows do you get a year?
Perhaps there should be a Franken blower project on the cards. Either for the front of franken mower of something else from the graveyard. You’ve got auger screws, would there be a blower in one of the old combines that would work?
That would be a fun build. Usually not many big snows, maybe 2 to 4 " of powder.
Robert Welker do you take project requests? 🤣
I’m from Australia, the snow thing is something I know nothing about.
Snow already man I need to come down their wish that would come where I live at
I want to see what's left of the GoPro that taught Nick to use Loktite on every thread. And know which auger/grain bin/combine it went through. :)
What sort of soil moisture/rainfall equivalents can you get from a typical snow melt? Significant enough a good snow could make or break a year?
We usually get about 5" to 8" of powdery snow or maybe .75" for the accumulation. But we've had significant more the last couple of years. This snowfall was early and wet which added to the soil profile before soil freeze up. Most of the total will be available for next years crop and will help in making a crop. We usually don't figure on much moisture from snowfall.
I guess it all adds up in the long run somewhere! Cheers 👍🏻
Snow?
Cause im from Minnesota
Nice GoPro rig! So GoPro and phone cams only? No full frame or mirrorless cams?
What type of camera or you using because the video looks all some.
Cool info on camera handle.
You okes living in the Arctic circle? It’s only October...
That's what's crazy about it. Got 3" yesterday. But all will be gone next week.
I wish you would have kept that storm. It appears it's moving this way and will cool things down and maybe drop some of that 4 letter word stuff on Saturday and Sunday.
Going to be 12 degrees here in Kalispell overnight, bad thing is it will be headed your way!! Stay warm guys!!
Hey Tileman, I was just in Kalispell today. Will be heading back next month. Maybe if I remember we could grab a Chick-fil-a.
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob Thanks Bob,That would be great! 756-0566
When’s the big bud vids coming
Had to take a couple day break so maybe this weekend.
You do the BEST MUSIC !.... I put on my headset and take a nap ....😂😂😂😂😂
Looks fun! That's what I needed a couple yrs ago in my driveway. Lol
Now that was informational! Sure appreciate it. Great video thanks.
If I never see snow again, it will be too soon. Unfortunately, it’s about two months away from Chicagoland. Better you than me this early in the year though.
Since I only live 40 minutes from a certain Millennial and they are calling for Snow this weekend. I am pretty sure we are going to get a video of green things pushing snow :P
Another most excellent video! I like the bonus footage, very satisfying seeing you close in the trench with the M100. And seeing the grain go in to the semi!
Although I am a little jealous of your past harvesting weather. We have had the wettest September on Record (Up in MB) and its been terribly tough and aggravating to try and get the crops off)
Nice little tutorial on the camera mount Nick, sure a lot of people will appreciate that. Looking forward to Bob cam!!
Can't wait to see what the Welkers' can accomplish this winter. Keep up the good work in the off season!
This is the John Deere power today !! ;-)
Hmm
THEY ARE NOT NEODYDIUM MAGNETS C MON THEY ARE NEODYMIUM / NE O DYM IUM
For me I have a hard time saying spatgetti. 😁👍
Yesterday i was watching your dads latest video and thinking he should get a setup like you and leg arms. Cool setup.
Sir I feel you like running that drone and sprayers into anything standing. Lol But great camera work as usual.
Very cool camera equipment. Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you and your family
