높고 화려한 빌딩 숲은 고개를 돌리면 보이는 초라한 동네를 감시카메라처럼 지켜 바라보고 있습니다. 그럼에도 과거 우리의 삶이 그대로 묻어있는 초라한 동네는 그 걸 눈치채지 못하고 있습니다. 아니 그럴 필요 없이 자연스럽게 서서히 변화하며 그 생태를 유지하고 평안하게 살아갑니다.
적어도 주변의 이해와 양해 용서가 함께했던 우리의 예전 모습 그대로 말입니다. 용산은 그런 곳입니다. 화려함으로 무장한 초 현대적 공간과 오래전부터 한국인의 삶의 터전이었던 오랜 동네의 공존
하지만, 신문과 뉴스를 통 해 이제 곧 초라한 그 공간도 목숨을 부지하지 어렵겠지만요. 그 공간을 눈에 담아 봅니다.
그럼 , 그런 용산을 함께 걸어볼까요?
