I love how this series revolves around music and I was soooo impressed with Sang's acting! Because I've been following him in Imfact since their debut I know that his personality is like the opposite from the character's. He doesn't have this innocent image at all, and he's nowhere close to shy. Seeing him act im this series I could barely recognize him. I'm so proud :')
I got goosebumps everytime they made eye contacts or either one of them took a glance on one another. The chemistry is overflowing in their eyes, like seriously we need longer version of this though.

Gaya sa Pelikula and the microseries Meet me outside and those two are highly recommended (and btw, both those two were created by the same director and writer). Recently, Philippines have been releasing a lot of bl and they're going for quantity over quality. That sucks
The problem with Filipino bls is its extremely low budget and it is quite obvious once you watch one as compared to other asian bls. They are just salvaging it through great plots, OSTs and scriptwriting, other than that, it's pure mediocre. Even the acting is quite cringey. They didn't bother putting up their actors first through intense acting workshop before throwing them out to spotlight.

The actors, even the supporting and extras went through a very tedious workshop, just for them to perfect their personality. Scenes, eventhough it took them a lot of efforts and time, were being redone just to ensure that every details, even the small ones are present. Filipino films can never do that. Filipino films tend to go for the cliche, the romcom or vice ganda thingy theme and it's so annoying asf. I know budget is a big factor but they can't even salvage it with great acting and most specifically, storyline. Filipino films will always be mediocre. The only bl that get my attention is GSP and Meet Me Outside, both made by the same director and writer. Other bl, nah cringe asf
These two need to be featured together more! The chemistry is perfect and their harmonizing voices, love this movie, wish it was longer, and this song I listen to at least once a day!!!
The thing I love about every Korean BL Drama that came out last year is that they are all so different in terms of setting and story-line. For instance I love Thai BL series as well, but so many have this university setting and the stories are kind of limited to the topics around it. There are exeptions though (I'm especially waiting for you, A Tale of Thousand Stars 👀). Also the cinemcinematography and narration in all of the Korean ones were so incredibly beautiful last year 😭.
Korean bls are increasingly happening and I love it. Their production are always short and beautiful and we are always left wanting more, hope we get longer versions soon.
After four years of crazy hate politics in America (I have been in this country for 30 years), I started to scape every night to a far away country and started watching foreign movies, specially from countries I have not visit yet like Korea, Taiwan and Japan thru Netflix. And that is how Netflix suggested this movie. I would like to congratulate the writers, actors and producers of this movie, for making the love between to cute college kids “normal.” While we live in a world that wants to separate us, it is nice to see that love and wanting to be liked is universal. With the popularity that Korean performers are having in other countries, I applaud this platform to tell a beautiful story. Well done, keep acting and singing and congratulations for this movie. Now, the story needs to continue.
