I made this rice last month January.... Oh goodness! Oh my goodness... It's REALLY REALLY LOVELY and the food did not stay the whole day and it finished
My dear Precious, you are at it again. I was going to make fried rice, but I changed my mine once I saw this coconut. Hope mine will come out nice too?
The bag is not yet open it was first stored in the cupboard then I noticed little pieces of black in it, so I put it in a Ziploc bag and placed it the fridge.
Yeah, Precious. Thank you so much. What are the odds? I was thinking of making rice for a potluck. I really was thinking of the oven baked jollof since I fell in love with it as soon as I tried. So while I was thinking about it, I saw a youtube msg. I said "oh what did Precious cook today?" So I checked the msg and it opened to Coconut fried rice. My eyes sparked as soon as I started watching the video; and I instantly knew, that was exactly what I will make. I absolutely loved it. What you said about every body from cross cultures loving this dish? Yes, Yes! You are correct. Love the fact that the vegetarians could take part while meat lovers could combine with any meat of their choice. Honestly, one colleague said this is her new favorite food. She is a vegetarian. I said me too. I had to come to you with my experience. It is the least I can do for receiving such a precious recipe. Just to mention that I have always loved the combination of coconut and nutmeg flavor, so I sprinkled a bit of ground nutmeg making sure all flavors stay in the shadow of the coconut flavor (wink). Thanks so much. You really are Precious and so is your kitchen. Thanks for letting me into your kitchen. Stay Blessed. Iya.
Iya Bijengsi this makes me so happy, dear! You are so kind for always coming back to give me feedback on recipes. Thank you! Nutmeg and coconut sound good together!

Hey precious, thank you for showcasing Cameroonian recipes.
Visy Visy aww thank you, dear.
You are very welcome. I have a question. How will you know if the powdered crayfish is going bad?
Visy Visy the best way is to smell it. If it smells bad then it's bad. The powder should smell like crayfish.
The bag is not yet open it was first stored in the cupboard then I noticed little pieces of black in it, so I put it in a Ziploc bag and placed it the fridge.

U should always give ur rice a wash, regardless!!
