One of the things I love most of all on RUclips are the continuity uploads for December in the run up to and during Xmas. The things I love next of all are the Xmas continuity vids uploaded throughout the year. 😊
10pm on Xmas eve in 1981 i would imagine a 7 year old me would’ve been tucked up in bed sound asleep waiting for Father Christmas
I was 12. I remember swallowing a big lump of toothpaste and wondering if I would die before Christmas Day 😂 I didn't and I got an Astro Wars electronic game instead 😂
You are therefore a year older than me, as I was eleven and in my first year at senior school back then!

I really wanted astro wars and aster I heard my mum testing it out I thought all my Christmases had come at once. Imagine my surprise when I got a smash and crash car set
I swallowed an orange pip once and was terrified I was gonna be ripped apart from within by a growing tree!
From that long-ago time when they hadn't figured out how to speed up the credits!
Ha! It’s possible though that the unions hadn’t permitted TV to speed up or limit the credit rolls yet. Anyone got any info on that?

Couldn't agree more...I'd have been 8 years of age.....and the world seemed a wonderful place to be then!!

It's exactly the same and I think it always has been. The only difference is back then we literally paid no attention to any of it. Maybe that's a good thing🤔
