1985 was a bad year for me due to the loss of a family member .can't look back with good memories

Thanks for this. I'd say it was nostalgia, but I think I'd have been way too young to remember any of this.
Also, this clip makes it look like Santa Claus: The Movie was one of Barry Norman's Films of the Year. LOL. Which I suspect was not the case (as fun and underrated as that movie is).

True, but reading up on the siege, it looks like the police did a good job for once. They couldn't stop the first murder which I believe occurred before they got involved, but they did at least save the two young girls caught up in the siege *without* killing the hostage-taker, who went on to stand trial and go to prison.
