I think if they played this song at the end of the Boku no Hero Academia series, it would be perfect. The song has this nostalgic vibe to it. I imagine it showcasing deku's journey and everyone else's too. All the events that happened and all the character deaths as a tribute . And then right at the end he becomes a pro hero like he had always dreamed to be.
I cry every time I hear this. I was bullied my entire life basically. I wanted to be a voice actor, but everyone laughed at me. When I watched My Hero, I saw a lot of myself in Izuku. We were both striving for something completely out of reach, but now, we're on our way to achieving our dreams. Izuku is close to becoming a great hero, while I'm coming closer to becoming a voice actor. Don't let anyone say your dreams are out of reach. You see, I will tell you what I mean when I say that I lived through a civil war in my life. It all started in 2017, I had just entered high school with a knowledge scholarship and obviously I was a little afraid that something would happen to me but I still kept going, and I did suffer and I was a victim of bullying but honestly that didn't matter to me though. In that high school there was a boy who watched anime and had a picture of Izuku in his notebook and I approached him and asked him about the character that was in his notebook and he kindly responded with a brief story of who he was so I was excited. The next day I spoke to that boy again and asked him where I could watch that anime and he, always kind, gave me a link to watch it......I didn't have the courage to watch that anime because I got carried away by the comments of my colleagues (I know I'm stupid and an idiot, I deserve their best mockery and insults) So I didn't get close to that boy again and high school continued with bad things for me and my situation at home was not ideal but I found comfort reading and writing fanfics until what happened there that would trigger the civil war and that is that my parents told me. They discovered and there were things that I read that were not to their liking and honestly not mine either, so they prohibited me from writing and reading on the Internet....as you can imagine, I had a horrible depression because of that and it increased with the things that happened in high school because, as I said before, I had a scholarship and to keep it I needed to maintain a good school average. The worst of all was that the pandemic arrived and with them we locked ourselves in.....at first it was easy for me but it wasn't later because one day looking at the school work I saw that someone wrote something good about me in their yearbook and...that day I cried a lot (the boy who introduced me to the anime was not there...he left school and I never saw him again) And it was at that time where I regained the trust of my parents and I was able to write again but not read so I wrote a couple more fanfics but everything changed when I turned 15 and there my parents allowed me to create a profile on Facebook and There, after joining groups with the themes that were my favorites, I met a group of boys with whom I became quite fond...we were very unique but I became friends with a girl whom I considered my sister...that changed when my parents discovered that and forced me to leave that group I didn't know what to do and I got more depressed and when I was able to return I found out that the group no longer existed and that my friend went through bad things and I feel very guilty about that. When I returned to Facebook I found another group and there I became friends with a boy who participated in that roleplay group....we became very close friends and we told each other everything...one day he told him that he needed money so he told me He talked about it attaching photos of his credit card and he asked me for help and I told him no...he took it well and in fact we forgot about it but my parents searched my phone that day and found that conversation and they took my phone away from me. ...it was Christmas Eve and I had promised that boy that we would spend it together... I couldn't keep that promise and my parents told me that if I spoke to him again... they would report him so I blocked him... the worst of all is that the whole time I was gone he sent me messages and audios asking me how I was and if I was okay...... I started crying when I heard them. After that I only focused on continuing in some role-playing groups and sometimes I wrote but it was no longer the same and it hurt me to remember my old friends... I spoke again with the girl who was my sister but I lost contact with The guy already considers the last time we spoke...he was angry with me (I managed to talk to him through a Facebook profile that it seems he no longer uses) and I haven't spoken to him since then. Time passed and one day for some reason I got up the courage to watch that anime that that boy had recommended to me in high school....when I started watching it, I broke down emotionally because after so many years I felt back to myself. comfort zone and my passion for writing was rekindled plus I met new friends...but that's where I got too broken and angry with myself.....why didn't you have the guts to watch that anime before? Why do you care more about other people's opinions? The fact that I could have discovered this new world and maybe be happier torments me every day....added to the fact that I want to learn to draw but no one teaches me that makes me feel worse. Now I'm in college and I'm trying to stay on my feet although it's quite difficult and to be honest...I can't watch My Hero Academia without crying or feeling very sad so that's why I can't watch that anime..... .because I am always tormented by the fact that I was able to enjoy it before and the fact that by doing so I would have improved as a person. To you who are reading this... I wish you the best in life and I hope you can fulfill all your dreams, I know it is difficult but the path is always difficult and it is a matter of overcoming yourself and achieving it. I really feel like fans would cry if they hear this song when the entire MHA series ends. The way the wave of nostalgia just slaps you in the face and how it reminds you of how this is all started in the first place. Just a normal city boy with a dream, now grown to be the world's next symbol of peace. With the new weight of responsibility resting on his shoulders, he just can't help but smile. A grin spread across his face as he recalls... all the hardships, the challenges, difficulties and his old dreams of becoming a hero. He stares off into the bustling city environment above a skyscraper with Kacchan , who was his childhood friend, his rival in UA , his idol second to All Might, his greatest obstacle to overcome and the Number 2 hero. This ending gets me every time, it's one of the only endings I never skip, I even sing along in either broken Japanese or my awkward English translation lol. But no, MHA has played such a huge part in my life since it first came out a few years back. In 2017 I had just decided after the worst years of my life to go back to college and major in what I really loved. But I was so far behind. I believed I'll never get there or graduate. Still life had other plans and I'm struggling again. I can't get the degree I wanted but I've found another path. And I know deep down that all will be okay in the end. But I really *do* have to try harder than everyone else to get to the same place. I keep going through hell and back torturing myself for 7 years to graduate now and it seems so close but so far away. But I can't describe how much MHA and Deku have inspired me, I relate to him so, so much. I was born and destined to struggle with mental and physical illnesses I inherited and literally anyone else with my conditions would think I'm absolutely insane to keep going, hell even normal people who I told my story to said that I'm absolutely mad but I inspired them and gave them the motivation to keep going. So anytime I want to give up and cry, every time I fall down again, all I can do is accept myself and push through it. Like at this point it's not just for me, it's for everyone who has ever believed in me and helped me, everyone who doubted me, people who feel like they can't overcome their own lot in life, and others who have the same limitations I have. I want to be the person I needed in my life when things seemed impossible. And I want to be the person to guide others from my experience. I really feel like fans would cry if they hear this song when the entire MHA series ends. The way the wave of nostalgia just slaps you in the face and how it reminds you of how this is all started in the first place.

This ending gets me every time, it's one of the only endings I never skip, I even sing along in either broken Japanese or my awkward English translation lol. But no, MHA has played such a huge part in my life since it first came out a few years back. In 2017 I had just decided after the worst years of my life to go back to college and major in what I really loved. But I was so far behind. I believed I'll never get there or graduate. Still life had other plans and I'm struggling again. I can't get the degree I wanted but I've found another path. And I know deep down that all will be okay in the end. But I really *do* have to try harder than everyone else to get to the same place. I keep going through hell and back torturing myself for 7 years to graduate now and it seems so close but so far away. But I can't describe how much MHA and Deku have inspired me, I relate to him so, so much. I was born and destined to struggle with mental and physical illnesses I inherited and literally anyone else with my conditions would think I'm absolutely insane to keep going, hell even normal people who I told my story to said that I'm absolutely mad but I inspired them and gave them the motivation to keep going. So anytime I want to give up and cry, every time I fall down again, all I can do is accept myself and push through it. Like at this point it's not just for me, it's for everyone who has ever believed in me and helped me, everyone who doubted me, people who feel like they can't overcome their own lot in life, and others who have the same limitations I have. I want to be the person I needed in my life when things seemed impossible. And I want to be the person to guide others from my experience.
Anyway I know nobody is going to read this but I've been re-watching the first season and every time this song gets me to my core, it's come to mean so much to me. It really makes me cry sometimes. Just thought I'd shout my thoughts into the void.
