I love this song and it's atmosphere although as much as the lyrics are well chosen, I find them typical of Steven's attitude towards religion and those who are religious. I think Steven did the right thing by changing the lyrics, not because they cause me any great offence but because they stand out as unnecessarily controversial in an otherwise superb song! ...Also this song can be found on the 'Demo' cassette limited to 50 copies. The cassette has been widely bootlegged and is often called 'ambulance chasers' with substitute artwork.

What is he, he's doing something else right now right? I don't know why he wouldn't want to be part of this, although I hear Steven can be difficult to work with
It's always incredibly interesting to hear demos of songs by great bands. The lyrics here are a bit clunky and the arrangement is less direct and powerful. It's still a great song and the raw vibe is cool, but it's just not the finished piece. Sometimes you really do have to keep tweaking and tweaking until you get it.

I love this version of this fantastic song. What a superb band!
Semplicemente infiniti....🙏 Lele 🎸❤️
Great version!! I even prefer this one above the final version. Better lyrics as well!! ;)
Great Version, Greater Lyrics
The final version is sublime , but i personally prefer this one

I want my band to do a version where we have each of the chorus lyrics for The three choruses.
That would sound great!
Tnx didn't know this version
What's up with the pictures of those guys that are evidently not PT?
Age comes to us all...

Steven being his broodyboi self
Donde puedo descargar esta versión o en que disco esta está version

Omg why wasn't this the studio version???
Because the studio version has a much better arrangement and better lyrics?

I agree with Charlie Payton below. God does a LOT more (and already has done) than Steven Wilson seems to think. Smh.

@@huntressdriver2212 there is no such thing as destruction for the spirit, just coming back to this fucked up nonsense until you get it right.
