My breath is very heavy but with my first and second child. My breast was leaking about 7 months. I'm 6 months now and I haven't seen anything at all. I've never heard of the milk coming in soon when you give birth for after. So this is news to me wow
I was unsuccessful trying to breastfeed with all three of my babies. I got help from lactation consultants, read books from La Leche League and joined a support group but nothing worked. Not every woman can breastfeed. I just did not produce any milk, or a very small amount, less than one ounce at a time. I know because I also tried pumping to increase my supply. Meanwhile, I was trying to contend with a constantly hungry crying baby. After a couple of weeks I always had to give it up and go on formula.
if baby was suckling colostrum after birth and it is enough food for them.. then why was my baby still crying and stopped crying after the nurses gave him a formula milk bottle?
Congratulations on your new baby! Yes, colostrum is enough for baby when baby effectively breastfeeds on demand (8-12 times daily) and when there isn’t a maternal medical condition affecting milk flow. Also making sure baby is transferring milk at the breast when feeding is vital. Hand expression of colostrum and spoon/finger feeding can top baby off after feedings too.

I’ve taken a test was negative and was heavy bleeding but thin like implantation bleeding but my boobs have gotten firm and bigger lots of green vein showing too… about to go to the doc

I commend you for reaching out for help and support. Your love is not measured in ounces. Sending love.

Mom had emergency C section at 6 months and 5 days. How should breast milk production be stimulated? Thank You.
After you give birth and milk takes time to come in, what do you feed the baby in the meantime??
was curious on this as well.
Colostrum. It is the first type of milk your body produces.
She should answer this
Colostrum
Thank you for the education!
I'm 34 weeks now and I don't feel any breast changes or heaviness or milk leakage. Is that normal???
Hi, did you’re milk come in for you?
Can mummy's milk delay to a month or more
