8:40 lifelong celtics fan here and i remember watching that game. That dunk was NASTY. The couple years before the big 3 was really tough and when they got Allen and KG was just the perfect storm. The 3 guys just complimented each other so good and KG brought a defensive mentality to the entire team. We also had some great role players like Rondo, big baby, eddie house, Terry allen and leon Powe. I loved those teams!
Ever notice that when Embiid plays like crap he's "injured" but if he does well the next game he's doing celebrations constantly? Dude was flying the airplane one game and then moping on the bench the next. I don't buy the injury excuses with him anymore.
Considering how he was averaging nearly 40 a game in the playoff series choke job to the Hawks, if I were a 6er fan the injury excuses died right then. But that's just me.
The year before getting KG was my favorite year watching the Celtics. They only won like 18 games or something and Pierce was out most of the season, but watching Rondo just work magic and pass like I had never seen on my favorite team was really fun, and watching Perkins and Al Jefferson bang in the paint was beautiful to watch. They weren't a very good team, but they were so fun to watch and every win was like winning the championship.
Phil Jackson couldn't adjust to Prince guarding Kobe in the 04 Finals either. Prince and Lindsey Hunter just picked up Kobe a little earlier when he crossed half court and didn't double Shaq, and Phil's Lakers just bashed their head against the wall over and over with no answer.
26:00 The end of the finals where the Lakers beat the Celtics, seeing Rondo take the final 2 3 pointers, even hitting the first, taught me that is what happens late in big games. To win close games late you are forced to have your weakest scorer/shooter put up points. When the game is tight it's usually because the stars don't have it that night and/or the team is clamped down, and they get away with that clamp by allowing the weakest link to have to beat them. It's an age old strategy and the reason why teams with a lot of star power fail in the playoffs consistently. If you want to win in the NBA you need a minimum of 5 guys who can get buckets and open up the whole game. They don't have to be shooters, but they need to be a threat from wherever they play from. Otherwise it all comes down to Rondo chucking 3's under duress and your season is over.

If you take a drink every time the word "actually" is said, you'll die. Don't do it.
Tmac was literally magical in Orlando. He's one of my favorite... If not my favorite player of all time.
At first I didn’t know what route you were taking this video on…..but it all made sense at the end. This was brilliant!
Blessing us w a two hour 🙏
Man the fact that the most efficient player of any season in history (Jokic) hasn't won MVP, but won championship with few clutch plays just makes this video even more relevant.
NBA should appreciate the greatness and stop snubbing in name of their narratives and propaganda. Embiid was and never will be consistent player, because he has a mentality of toddler.
Thanks for putting all the chokers in their place. They all choked individually, and choked massively as a collection.
Deadly trio fans are scared by Doc,Harden,Embiid no lead is safe in thier hands
Tooforwon is toogood! SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE
These three were made for each other
Putting Doc Rivers name beside The Great Popovich was just pure blasphemy
Gracias algoritmo por mostrarme este increíble trabajo de recopilación y análisis. Excelente narración
That laugh at the start is more broken than my hopes and dreams
This MVP was a straight up pity MVP especially since the media decided to use race in the argument despite the fact that he obviously didn’t deserve it especially in hindsight
bro I criticized Doc Rivers as being overrated too so I'm glad I'm not the only one because I feel like the weight of that one championship with a loaded team is carrying him WAY further than it should
Still can’t believe he denied that team getting Timmy Duncan 😂
