Rhonda identifying four creatures based on multiple seizmographs in the area is basic triangulation and not remotely far-fetched, not remotely ridiculous. Based on distance from each location and the time of each disturbance, it’s easy to determine with as many readings as she had.
You two are nuts. This is a great movie. I honestly would give it a 9/10, easy. An 86% on Rotten Tomatoes is about right, if not deserving a better score.
As an aside, I wouldn't call this a horror movie. More like an action/adventure, creature feature.

You took it to serious Mr Freddy, Tremors is tongue in cheek from start to finish, a nod to the monster films of the 40s and 50s. You have to move the goal posts quite far with 90s creature feature films. I def recommend Arachnophobia from 1990, made in the same vein as Tremors 😍😎👍👍🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🥀🥀
I grew up watching this movie on the Navajo Nation! Here's a fun fact: Brent Maddock and SS Wilson, the Screenwriters, whom were in the Navy, were sitting on a large boulder in a Nevada Test Site and one of them said, "What if there was something under the ground that would never let us off this rock?" And thus Tremors was born.
It's amazing where people can get their inspiration from.

I'm surprised the RT score is as low as 86%; this is a terrific film, full of heart, with great dialogue and amazing set pieces. For goodness sake, the scene when they pole-vault from boulder to boulder is beautiful!
If you're going to satirise or make fun of something, you actually have to be funny. You two aren't funny in the slightest. You exude an air of superiority that is entirely unearned. You think you're amusing but honestly, you're not.
I have never downvoted a video on RUclips before; I'm always appreciative of the work involved even if I don't like the product. But never have two people deserved it more, so it's a first thumbs down from me.

2:11 - I think you are talking about "Pretty in Pink" movie, it has a scene like you described. Pretty good teenage movie.
If you like 80-90s horror/comedy - try "Arachnophobia" - It's great!
Sixteen candles, Anthony Michael Hall is the one who holds them up. Still a John Hughes movie though

Kevin Bacon has a lot of great movies. Tremors is great fun.
One of the few horror movies I like. You should also watch Stir of Echos 1999 another great Kevin Bacon Sci Fi Horror movie.

Wow, rarely downvoted a vid so hard. Dude on the right is so certain he knows dick about filmmaking and criticizes the film for necessary exposition and the position of the Sun. I see them on here defending this by going "It's just my opinion, bruh" which is negated by him seeing the overwhelming favor it has on RT and saying "nah, critics are stupid."
Tremors has one of the tightest screenplays ever put to a monster flick and practical effects that hold up thirty years later.
Dude doesn't even consider for a second the fact that the characters are excellent, as evidenced by the fact that HE REMEMBERED ALL THEIR NAMES.
Even Walter Chang, who they laughed at for how he looks, and criticized for being a Chinese character with a Chinese name.
Just all around arrogant. Video is ratio'd, and for good reason.

When I think Kevin bacon I think of tremors! Another favorite of mine with him is Death Sentence, probably not react worthy but a good watch 👍🏻

I'm disappointed that you didn't like it, but oh well...you win some, you lose some.
My advice is to go into every movie . With a open mind an just go with the movie. Then make up your mind about what it is. Because you went into this movie thinking it was a . Straight up horror movie but then found out it was a horror comedy . Here's a nother horror movie that every one in Hollywood past on . Because they didn't want to take the risk . A Nightmare on elm Street (1984) the only movie studio that was willing to risk it was. Was New Line Cinema wich at the time . Was so small it was basically just a store front movie company . But because they took the risk on. A Nightmare on elm Street it paid off big time that's . Why New Line is often referred to as house that Freddy built . Because off the huge success of a Nightmare on elm Street . They are now a major company you would know them from . The Final destination movie but it all started with A Nightmare on elm Street .

I always kinda liked this movie for how ridiculous it gets but then I remember they just completely went off the rails and somehow got another 6 movies out of it. I agree the banter between Kevin Bacon's character and the other guy is the best part looking back.

The movie 300 🔥🔥🔥 new sub
The script is tight, the characters are smart, and the dangers are ever evolving and overall the story is fun.
Are there a few cheesy or dubbed in lines that could use a redo? Sure. But it is a light. Hearted monster flick with great characters far from the usual tropey ‘brainless college kids make stupid decisions and you canae stand them” monster flicks of current year.
You dinae need a dark, humorless depressing film with excessive gore and swearing to be entertaining.
