I'm glad you were able to get one of the 4 bedrooms. I was only able to get the 3 bedroom, which only comes with a 1 car garage in the same area due to the limited availability of housing on FT Bliss right now.
WOW! First of all, THANK YOU for your service to the both of you! The sacrifices the two of you made are what makes American great, love and hugs. and WOW, I wish we had a house like that when we live there on base, hubby was an E-7 and our housing was old and much smaller. The floors were parquet wooden floors 🫣, I couldn't stand them! and our windows were rectangular and high above the floor. We couldn't look out to see a view of the lawn, blue sky only :\. But nevertheless, it was our first home as husband and wife, and we welcomed our baby girl into that home. I can't remember the name of the housing community but it was not in Ft. Bliss, but across the golf course (if it's still there). Thanks for the tour, I enjoyed seeing it and you all were definitely blessed. Again, THANK YOU! for your service Ren and Julie xoxoxo
Thank you, Bev!!! This was a spacious home for sure. The community it’s in is also really nice. The housing you’re talking about -where you and your husband lived- is still there! And they actually rent to civilians as well. I’m not sure of the process and how that works, but I know they rent to non service members in that area too. The kids and I actually stayed in those homes for a bit while some repairs happened in our home. You’re right, small high windows, a lot less space, but it was still a nice little area. Thanks for watching and for your support ❤❤
Sounds like you were in the Same Housing area we were in back in the Early 90's. LOGAN Heights housing area.. We started out in Van Horn ( Van Harlem it was loving called by Military Police ), It has since been torn down. We lived at 3152 Steele Road in Logan Heights... I remember them floors. We also had to take care of our lawns back then, and I had a neighbor who taught me some tricks to get it super green. Plain Laundry soap.
So did you get the house cleared without the cleaning crew if so CONGRATS! Way to go. From one vet to another, Congrats on completion of your Military career, and thank you for your service.
Hooah! Congrats on your retirement! Came across your channel while checking out El Paso as a potential spot to retire. Appreciate your everyday life videos. Did you serve in Germany? I was in West Germany from 1988 until 1991. 8th ID. It was deactivated after the 1st Gulf War. Again, I appreciate your videos. It gives a realistic portrayal of happy family life in El Paso, not the super glitz realtor type videos.
Storage on the left of the garage at the beginning as well.

Thanks! PCS'ing out that way in Sep/Oct and considering staying on base. I think we can be comfortable in that place. Congrats on your retirement!
Yes lots of space
This home was good to us ❤

Are these houses available for any range???
Hi! These houses are for senior enlisted.
Is this a stand alone home or a duplex?
Stand alone
Is this the housing for SGM Academy?
For seniors but I believe they use these houses as well depending on availability
