    Why don't you have a lower support plate for your jack? Especially since your frame is only L channel and not a boxed frame or even C channel frame...

    Could you bolt new coupler on with anti vibration washers and stop nuts

    Would bolting the new coupler on be sufficient?

      Hmmmm maybe if high tensile bolts but you cant beat welding mate

      Yes you can definitely bolt on a trailer coupler. But you have to buy a bolt on coupler. I will not risk it by bolting a weld on coupler. Heck Demco makes a bolt on coupler rated for more than 20k!!
