Agree with everyone that the chip time here counts! I think that for the shorter races(5/10k), the gps will cut the corners and turns some and result in an underestimate of the true distance. So, unless the course seems severely short, I'll accept the official result. Enjoying the videos!
So helpful thank you! Sometimes it works in your favour and sometimes it works against you, but I agree - chip time all the way! Thank you for watching/commenting and sharing your thoughts 😃🙏🏻
Hi @maisie_runs just come across your channel. Is that some kind of "chub rub" you use in the first scene, a min and a half in? Any recommendations? (not sure what else to call it!) thanks
Hey! Thanks for watching! So in this video it was Puresport freeze roll on - which is a a CBD roll on which can helps with muscle recovery etc. But I do also use something called Bodyglide - which stops your skin rubbing together, so I do us that on my thighs too, it works well for me 🤗
Great looking glasses Maisie! 😎 Didn’t see you touch em once 😉
Haha they are perfect! Stay very snug. Only issue is that they are non-prescription, so have to rely on contact lenses!
The official chip time is what should be relied on because your gps is not always accurate. So congratulations on sub 21 🎉 Great running!
Thanks Christina - lots of people said the same so that’s what I have gone with. Woo! Thank you 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Always the official race time, congrats on the PB!
Thanks Matt! I asked the same question on Instagram and the response was unanimous, so I went with the race/chip time! 🙌🏼🎉
You should use your partner as a wind blocker! He looks to have the build for it 😂
Hahaha very good point. He was too quick for me on this occasion 👎🏻😂

If it’s not on strava, it’s doesn’t count lol
Haha well it was certainly on strava! Just a few seconds slower than the official race time! 😂👏🏻
