Thank you! Great video - I will try it as soon as I can get a zipper foot for my Janome. I love your eyeglasses! I have been looking for a similar color and style. They look wonderful on you
Thank you Gina! I'm looking for a new pair of glasses because I need a new prescription and these are discontinued, and I'm having a hard time finding any. bummer. Thanks for the comment. You can probably get a janome foot on amazon.
Will give this a try … just as soon as I learned to oil, clean and thread the machine my “serger owning, sewing loving” sister gave me when the Dino’s walked among us! 😂 But seriously, you’re video is the reason I’m going to try! Thanks!
Yay! so glad this video inspired you. Thank you for telling me! good luck with your project...tag me on IG when you get it finished I'd love to see it.
I'm making a duvet cover from 2 different sheet colors. Using a blanket for inside b/c I don't like comforters. I'm hand sewing it. I like duvet cover for many reasons but main reason is I won't have to wash blanket every time I change bed. Beds are made for comfort, not frilly beauty.
Nice, clear tutorial! Thank you! But when you say that a standard duvet is a certain size, don't you find that ultimately it has to conform to the size of the particular duvet quilt that you are placing inside of it?
For a duvet you want it to wash well and you want it to be very comfortable and soft. I’d probably pick up two good quality cotton king flat sheets. Then you don’t have to sew any seams , you’ll only need yo sew the top and bottom together.
yeah...sorry, my camera was set wrong for the whole beginning part of the video. oops. like my mom always said...you live and you learn, and sometimes you just live. ;)
Love your sewing helper 😻

I know. We just got her, so she pretty much does what she wants around here.
Good tutorial. But my eyes hurt while watching it. My phone has better fps recording capacity.
