You axial reading is -0.3 that means at 180deg gap is opened for that remove shims on motor back foot 0.4, and radial reading is you given -0.23 that means already motor is up as per fixed the dail guages shown in picture so remove 0.1shims in front foot of motor

If you cant rotate the fixed machine. Then fix the dial clamp fixture on the movable machine. Then keep than dials on fixed machine then take the readings by rotate the movable machine. And remaining are same procedure. And answer will change into reverse. + and -

Please confirm that why there difference signages action in practical nd formula alignment.
You can fix dial in the fixed machine on coupling rim center and take the measurement from coupling rim center to movable machine front foot as dimension B. Both are same. Remaining reading sign(+ or -) will be change. According to sign you need to add or remove sim.
