Hello my beautiful family hope you are all having a blessed and beautiful day! Enjoy this delicious recipe inspired by Encanto it’s definitely super easy and delicious! And please make sure to read the description, love you lots 😘
You are the best!!! You make cooking look sooo easy and enjoyable!!! Love your glamour in all the cooking videos! I long to learn to cook and look as sharp as you do one day!!!
You make it look so easy!!! I tried to make them with refried beans inside and when I started to flatten them out, then bean filling was coming thru in places. I guess it just takes practice. 😂
Girlie 💕your videos have saved my marriage my husband was always bragging how great his mom and grandma cook and since I have started cooking your recipes my food is the only food he brags about now. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Awe you don’t understand how happy this makes me! That was my purpose when I started this channel, to show you all how easy cooking is!!! I’m glad you are enjoying it 😊💗
Yes! She breaks it down and makes it look simple and delicious. Plus you motivate me to want to arreglarme and look my best. Keep doing an awesome job!
As a Colombian, these are the way you make arepas. Claudia, your arepas taste way much better than mines thank you for putting this video to help millions of people. Have a blessed day! ❤
My friend said arepas was one of their favorite dishes growing up, so I knew I had to make some. Their birthday is coming up and I didn't know where to start. Glad I came across your video!
One more time Thank you very much for your unselfish attitude. And for sharing your recipes. God bless you in everything you do. Blessings from Los Angeles California 🙏🙏🙏
@@CookingConClaudia well you cut it open like for gorditas and used corn meal lol but the cheese is different. I think maybe I can make these instead lol. Looks yummy!
Their ingredients are the same and delicious 😋. The only big difference is how we process the corn before it’s cooked. In south america the corn’s skin is removed when is dry and in center and north america is cooked with the corn’s skin on using lime to soft it
Claudia, not only do make delicious dishes, you make the recipes on your channel so easy to create, which I love. In my opinion, you also win the award for best-looking/best dressed chef on RUclips 😀
Hola Claudia! How about a make-up tutorial ? You always look so pretty and on point!💕⚘ Love your cooking videos. I'd also like to see how you do your make-up.
I’ve been searching and trying different Arepa recipes and now my search is over. Look no further! These are perfecto! Even better stuffed with rice and black beans.
I have been watching you for a while now, I have made several of your recipes. I told my wife that I am learning to cook Hispanic food from a lady chef. You look very dressed up for today's video, and of course, my wife looks at the screen and sees you standing there and remarks that now she knows why I like cooking so much. So I have some explaining to do, but we are eating some wonderful foods. Thanks,
First time viewer. I will be giving this a try. I am Puerto Rican and also relate to cooking all types of foods from all over the world. Thanks for this recipe idea.
I know you know what you’re talking about because you flips the arepas with your hands. That the universal sign for “I know what I’m doing in the kitchen”
This is the most simple arepa 🫓 recipe I’ve seen. Definitely going with this one. I’ve only had Colombian arepa, where my family lives but I like the way these look better, and much softer!
My first time making arepas and it was easy and super delicious. I filled the arepa with shredded chicken from your chicken rolled recipe and it was a perfect combination. Yummy 😋
First time I ever tried making this. I figured I would give it a try because I had some Chile Colorado left over. I didn’t have corn meal but I used corn masa flour i had on hand. Worked out great. Was sooo good! Thank you for sharing!
Perfect timing for this recipe. The grocery store I was in today just happened to have some bags of Masarepa on closeout for $1 each. There isn't a lot of Mexican food here so I grabbed the bags not knowing exactly how to use it. The normal Mexican section is Old El Paso so this was a surprise find. And now I know it's used in one of my favorite foods other than tacos. Thank you Claudia.
Claudia. I love your vibe. Keep it going. Your so Beautiful. I’m going to try your green enchiladas. Can’t wait. Lol. Love your story. Wish you and your family the Best.
I did recipe for tonight’s dinner and OMG! It was just soooooo delicious! Def gonna add this recipe to my “cooking” journal! 🤍 thank you for sharing girl!
Ok but around 0:30 when you dropped butter in the warm water, it flabbergasted me. That’s so genius to me. I’ve always melted butter in the microwave first, this makes so much more sense. I’m really amazed. These look perfect.
I watched your video a solid dozen times to make sure I got these right, and girl, they came out BOMB. My family loved them, and my little one got so excited seeing an arepa as she’s seen them in Encanto and couldn’t wait to try. My first 2 were on the thicker side, but after that, it became easier to shape and get them perfect. The texture was my favorite, so moist, perfectly seasoned, I could taste the cojita in every bite, and I was in food heaven tonight. Thank you so much for making it easy to follow, (I’ll always remember the pinky width trick too.)
You are so awesome Claudia I watch you all the time I cook alot of different dishes and I also bake but you are teaching me many things thanks so much I love Mexican or Latin food I wish we could do a cooking session one day and post it haha I am starting my channel soon when I move to the Caribbean Islands keep up the amazing work my friend stay safe God bless you 😊
Claudia!! If I was just shown a clip of you flipping these arepas without a spatula i would already KNOW without a DOUBT these are fire!!!!!!!! cannot wait to make these at home
My girlfriend loved Encanto and has mentioned a few times how she'd love to try and make Arepas (but is hopeless in the kitchen) so we're going to make them for our date night, super excited!!
I’m going to make them for my young granddaughters that love encantó and have been waiting to eat some arepas since they watch the movie!! You went a step further and added the cotija cheese that adds lots of extra flavor!!
Just reading the description made me subscribe i like how you added tips and the recipe ingredients are wrote out and also the history I never knew that
I made these today. I wasn’t sure if I would like them and it’s just me here so I quartered the recipe and that gave me 4 English muffin sized arepas. They are delicious. Thank you for recommending cheese. Most recipes I’ve looked at just said white cheese.
My son actually saw some arepas in the movie Encanto and has been asking for them. He loves cheese! So I had to check if cooking with Claudia had a recipe and you sure did! Thanks will see if he likes them.
