Hey Pen Gangsta. Great episode. I bet it's hard to give back the pens. Awhile back, you had reviewed a gorgeous and sexy Visconti with a dark red / burgundy swirl pattern with silver accent. I'm not sure of the model. Didn't it cost north of $1K? Anyway, I'm sure that pen was hard to send back
It’s always difficult to give these pens on loan back, especially when they write so beautifully. Guess I need to figure out a way to earn more income so I can afford to give these pens a forever home.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful pen, Vanessa. I love the aesthetic of Montegrappa pens, even at my budget level of the Elmo 02 or the Mia collection, they are very satisfying to use. Also, your manicure is lovely.😍
The Elmo 02 and the Mia pens are terrific in every way. They will always be loved and remain with me. I’ve bought all my many Montegrappa pens directly from the company’s retail website. I adore Aurora and Montegrappa and these two pen makers have always been closest my heart. Older Stipula is another.
I recently got my first Montegroppa. I did get it from ItalianPens at a deep discount. It’s a Green Ebonite Miya. It’s the only piston filler Miya I have seen which is interesting. I just finished my first fill and I love it. I don’t know if I’d pay full price for a Montegrappa but it has got me interested in getting another as a grail purchase.
@@pengangsta ItalianPens still has a brown ebonite one available. It was so hard to say no to it being almost half off. It’s still an expensive pen but it was on the level of a MZG so I couldn’t resist.
PG, Wonderful review, nice looking pen, and Montegrappa should hire you as their spokes person. Really, I would never consider Montegrappa as a brand to own, (ya, I don’t own one…), but they really put a lot of work and effort with all the extras included with the pen. Plus, you really showed its nice looks & its distinct features very well. 👍😎 Still, the cost is just too much for me, but others may not.
Awe, thanks for that. Perhaps I’ll send Guiseppe Aquila my resume and demand that he gives me a job at Montegrappa. How could be possible refuse? Haha!
I love Montegrappa for a long time. I have eight of their pens. It’s one of my top 3 favorite pen makers of all time. And I’ve been wanting this particular pen with either a broad or stub nib for many months already. Thanks for reminding me that maybe I really should just go for it and buy it.
Excellent review! Great video ❤
Thanks for the review - entertaining as always
Thank-you for watching!!!

I’m at the same budget level as you! But I agree, even at the Elmo level, the pens are nice to use. I printed the nails with a spring theme 💐

I hear you! If I can get a deal on a Montegrappa or any other expensive pen, I’m jumping on it.

It’s very nice and if my budget allowed it, I’d probably buy it too!
Lovely pen and the concept behind is really thoughtful. But the price, especially for a CC is bit on the high side. Thanks for the review.
Gorgeous; but I think I'd rather have my investment in the art community go to maki-e and urushi.
I hear ya!!! I’m a maki-e and urushi fan too and see those as art pieces too.
Great review thanks. I never understand why people would want to post a pen like that. It's clearly not meat to be posted.
Pandora
Pandora! Yes, thank-you!!! I couldn’t think of the name, hahaha!!!
Dont send it back!! Keep it!
