"The New York Giants have benched Daniel Jones for Tommy DeVito - but it shouldn't cause any concern about the Bucs' matchup with New York this weekend." Have you watched the Bucs defense this season?? EVERY NFL team's offense should be a MAJOR concern. Big L coming Sunday.
Coen has been mostly very good to great this year. But I would love to see him scheme up some quick screens or quick hitters to Palmer and McMillan to try and get them going. And use Palmer on the end arounds over Shepard, to try and get something out of his speed. Maybe a deep shot or two if they're doubling Mike. Palmer seemed on the verge of a breakout against the Eagles, then gets concussed and has been largely silent since. And if Tucker being in there "telegraphs" the Run: maybe use that aggression against the defense with play action or screens to him.
Incorrect big time. Detroit is 8-1 - its only loss is to Tampa. Philadelphia is 7-2, Tampa is one of the losses. Washington is 7-2 - Tampa is one of the losses. When they were healthy at the start of the season, they were beating everyone. When the lost CB Jamel Dean, the wheels came off with rookie undrafted free agent Tyrek Funderburk started for the next two games after the Saints and was terrible. When he struggled, the Bucs opted for Josh Hayes, who didn’t give much better results. They both were in the game against the 49ers on that last series (the only time both of them were on the field that game as Zyom was on one side up to that point) when the Bucs gave up a drive in 40 seconds to lose the game.
🤞🏼 With Dean healthy and Edwards added... Bucs have the depth to take KJ Britt off the field on passing downs. If they finally have enough bodies to run Nickle and Dime packages... this Defense could improve down the stretch.
I hope Evan's can stay healthy and get his 1000. I dunno I say feed Evan's every chance you get. Love to see the Falcons go 9-8 how sweet would that be. I hate the Falcons as much as the Saints. I don't really care if we make the playoffs at this point. If we can't beat the niner's, chief or baltimore we aren't ready. Might as well get a better draft pick and easier schedule next year and a new DC/HC.
I don't think they can make a Super Bowl run this year without Godwin. Esp with this porous D. But I feel like we would have won at least one of those last four games with a healthy Evans and (to a much lesser extent) Dean.
I hope the Buccaneers get to the playoffs this year, you play physical solid football, your QB is bought in and fights... Biggest reason is because it seems the window is very small and it seems to be a team aging quickly, and if you don't have couple of years of good drafting on defense to replace the elite players you have like David and others there will be a drop in the next couple of years... But the Bucs making it to the playoffs this year would be good for the NFL and us the fans.
I like Hayes as the other corner opposite Zyon and I think he’ll play this weekend because Dean is very injury prone so I’m glad he got some playing time the last couple weeks
I'm glad it's not Jones he has shown a propensity in the past for beating the bucks something about Long tall quarterbacks who can move around in a pocket he could also peel off 20 yards if you're not paying attention has given the bucs problems in my opinion Jones has been one of those guys that he will come in and sneak a game out of us I'm glad he's not playing here's he is a physical ability wise in better quarterback than people give him credit for
Bucs have no chance unless they get both of their starting cornerbacks. That would be Jamel Dean who has been out since New Orleans which was their last game with a good defense. Zyom McCollum has been good but he got hurt against the 49ers. Rookie undrafted free agent Tyrek Funderburk started for the next two games after the Saints and was terrible. Get the starting CBs back they have a chance - but it is the only way. Otherwise, they will lose to the Giants - count on it.
Honestly, winning the division and making the playoffs like last year may be the worst thing that could happen to this franchise. They could easily do exactly what they did last year and beat the brakes off of someone in the first round if the opposition gets cold and get bounced in the round after. I’ve come to grips with this team’s potential with current talent and scheme, and I’m confident they’re not true SB contenders as they are now. If making a small playoff push comes at the expense of giving Bowles one more year and letting Coen walk, it absolutely won’t be worth the one winning postseason game. While I believe the team had a justifiable reason to keep Todd after last year, let’s get real. If this team makes a run it’s not gonna be because the defense got much better I can’t imagine. Which would mean that I believe they should have cause to fire Todd this year without much room for debate. This is all purely hypothetical, and I can’t bring myself to root for losses; I just firmly believe the combo of losing Coen and keeping Todd kills any chance we have for 2025. And next year may be a better year if adjustments are made. I think a change in coaching could really light a fire and swing the feeling of failing to close out on big games and being generally risk averse philosophically.
LoL. You Goobers still don’t see that your short interception throwing quarterback is maxed out. He’s running at 110%. The coach isn’t the problem. Baker can’t see the field. Y’all still telling everyone that baker is ranked above Mahomes. Hilariously Pathetic. 4 and 6. Ok

Lost all the hard games, time to win all the easy games.

I called it week 5. 11-6, we win the division. 💯💯💯

YA! He's Mike Evans..... By God!
Greetings and salutations.
As Arizona, it's in the cards

I still don't trust Todd Bowels. He still makes trash QB into sensational QB performance.
Huh 😂
We would have to win out. Not impossible, but a major turn around is required. Go Bucs
Average QBs get paid too much
Good show
Why is the cover photo baker bout to kiss kirk

If Bucs lose to Giants, Bowles should get fired immediately.

@ I figure, fire bowles early and get started on the search process.
Bucs defense can't play zone

Are the Bucs legit
No
NOPE.
No fake playoff birth not again
You're not going to the playoffs unless Atlanta straight up doesn't win another game
@@esdeathisbae9480 mathematically that’s not the only way
@Doggo2004 have you seen the NFC? No South team is getting a wildcard spot
@@esdeathisbae9480 no I’m saying Atlanta could still win 1 or 2 games and the Bucs could still win it’s just very unlikely

Crazy that he’s completing 70% of his passes and has thrown 24tds. Thats impressive for any QB, especially one who can’t see the field
Someone’s being a troll
