I think you have been giving Lavonte more of a pass. And I get it he has earned it, and he's trying to pick up the slack for Britt. However, he has shown a marked decline this year and has not graded out well in several games. But with a healthy secondary, bye week rest, and some reinforcements behind him, I think you will have a much better end of season
Our secondary all I see is they let opposition catch the ball chase him and tackle him period ,every play, no play on defending the catch whatsover...and if they miss a tackle it's like ...oh well whatever...Bowles stands there lookin'...
James, I am confident the Bucs defense hasn't been as bad advertised. We haven't been near healthy all season. Lost CB3 in game 1 and Dean for a large chunk. I believe in Bowles, the defense will get hot against mediocre offenses. Team snowballs, bring back 2020 vibes.
I think the problem with Winfield is a bit deeper than that. He is clearly not the best DB in pass coverage. His splash plays are usually blitzing or defending the run. Since game 1 against the Commanders it was clear to me that his tackling approach was very lazy and soft. If he doesn't change his attitude he will look every day more like Jamel Dean
I strongly disagree with your take on the reversed record for 1 score games having any meaning at all. If you did that then the Giants would be in 3rd place overall in the NFC. It doesn't hold water.
I don't think it is useful for all teams. But I do think that it means a little for the Bucs, because they have had by far the strongest strength of schedule through 10 games. It is a largely useless Endeavor though to apply it to everyone
If we stay healthy we can definitely make some noise and go on a run.

Only time will tell is the bucs a contenders or pretenders this year
I don't think he's fully healthy tbh he looks off for sure maybe it's the ankle still
Dean has not played up to his potential.
