If you're thinking of winning the argument, you're thinking selfishly; you're not thinking of how to move forward with your partner. That's the issue. Keep thinking who wins vs loses and you're creating an unbalance and soon enough someone is going to no longer want to handle being the 'loser,' and they'll leave.

However, when you make a point and your point can't be disproved, that's when you win the debate. Tamera proved Adam's point which means he won. Adam said that Tamera incorrectly accused him of losing Aden's clothes and Tamera's rebuttal was all in defense of why she's worried about the whereabouts of Aden's clothes -- not about how Adam was the one responsible for losing them.
