there is that lone Luna Wolf that of all the Blood Angels he met the Flesh Tearers where nice and told him about what happened to his Legion, so basically that marine could be that guy if he went to the BlackShield route
Awesome job! Word Bearers love their maces (short stick with a flanged head) and I love that aesthetic. A mallet is a small usually wooden hammer, a Morningstar is similar to a mace except its head is circular and spiked, and a flail has the head connected to a chain instead of a pole. As for the model, this is great as I'm planning on making chaos Word Bearers and more religious loyalists and this works for both.

Thanks Simon. The base is Abaddon Black, then I did large to smaller highlights, starting from Incubi Darkness > Thunderhawk Blue > Fenrisian Grey. But I've started to cut out the Incubi darkness to save time.
good idea, but even there some Loyalist alpha legion or word bearer shouldn't they be dead, i know space marines can live up to hundred of years but ten thousand ? . . Anyway good job

This looks like a really good idea, minus the deathwatch shoulder and change out the powerpack on his back, and this could work for 30k with a bit of modification to the armour to make it look like mk5 armour

Thank you. It's just jewellery chain I bought on ebay. I think its 1mm, but smaller you can get the better.
